i just want to say that authors / writers on wattpad are also human. they have feelings too. sometimes they don't want to write but they do it to entertain people.
i've seen a few comments on my book and other people's books that aren't okay. when you comment
"i don't rlly like this."
"it should've been worded like this."
or just overall complain about something, it's annoying. at the end of the day nobody is forcing you to read a book. just skip over it or don't read the book anymore.
i understand constructive criticism but some comments aren't doing that. you're not giving HELPFUL advice. you're complaining about something that the author probably put on purpose bc it made him / her / them happy. most of the time they project their feelings into the book and you commenting on how you hate this or that, isn't helping.
i'm basically saying to please don't comment on something that you THINK they should've done, how they should've spelled it, or how you don't like how they made the story.
maybe dm them privately but even then keep it to yourself. you're not the one writing it, make your own if it really irks you.
please don't take this in a mean way. it just kinda bothers me on how many ppl comment things that they rlly don't have too and it makes writers lose interest.

and i know the difference between comments that are joking and actual comments that aren't joking. i'm talking about comments that are overall rude and everybody can see that.
