y/n's pov i'm currently sitting on the plane, next to vinnie, on the way to hawaii. the group forced us to sit together since we don't "get along." we do get along, it's just that he's annoying at times.
i look over at him to see him shifting in his seat. "these seats are so small and uncomfortable." he mumbles. i just chuckle and try to fall asleep for the next 5 hours.
vinnie's pov "are you gonna tell her on this vacation?" i hear jordan ask behind me. he's the only one who knows about my crush on y/n. "no, there's no point. she probably likes kio or something. they're always together." i say making jordan groan and sit back in his seat.
time skip to when they arrive
y/n's pov as everybody walks into the air bnb, everybody quickly says who they're sharing a room with. i look at everybody pairing up and see I'm left with vinnie. he rolls his eyes and i just make my way to our room, ignoring his actions. "WHO SAID YOU'RE GETTING THAT ROOM." maddy yells as i make my way into the master room.
"me since i have to bunk with this punk" i say. vinnie walks into the room and instantly throws himself on the bed. i look at him rolling all over the bed, messing up everything.
"stay on your side. don't ruin my comfortable side, i don't need your smell on my side when i sleep." i say as i make my way into the bathroom to take a shower. "whatever, they said get ready. we're going for lunch on the beach." vinnie informs me.
time skip to when everybody is at lunch

while i'm eating, i keep seeing vinnie look at me then stop and look again. i drop my fork and stare at him back. "what do you need y/n?" "what do YOU need. you keep staring..." i sass. everybody at the table looks at us and sighs.
"OKAY THATS IT. VINNIE AND Y/N GO BACK TO OUR HOUSE AND TALK OUT WHATEVER YOU HAVE GOING ON. we all know you like each other or whatever. you guys are always arguing for NO reason. GO" liya scolds us.
"okay mom..." vinnie and i mumble in unison. ••• as we make our way into the room, there's an odd tension between us. i look around scratching my head waiting for him to say something.
"y/n.." vinnie says lowly. i put my head up and urge him to go on. "i know you probably have a thing with kio or whatever but i like you." he says quickly. my mouth slightly goes agape and i try to speak but i cant.
"you can say no at least. you don't have to just stare weirdo." he kinda says with hurt in his voice. i see him walk away but i quickly pull his arm. "no.. wait. i thought you had a thing with briah?" i ask confused.
he rolls his eyes making me nudge my head back. "y/n you're so stupid. i like YOU. i did it to make you jealous because i thought you liked kio."
"oh oops. no, i went to kio because he gave me advice about you because i thought YOU liked briah." i slightly laugh. he shakes his head no and walks up to me. i look up at him as his hands are molding into mine.
i stand up and we're face to face. as we move closer, our lips brushing against each other, we hear something crash. we look back surprised and see our friends grinning.
"WE KNEW IT!!" "TOLD YOU!" "NOTHING NEW" "FINALLYY SHITT!" "AFTER 600 YEARS. DAMN" a few sayings go around.
"whatever." both of us say at the same time, once again.
