i watch him slightly loosen his grip on my waist and step back. he doesn't say anything. "why did you let everybody think you had something with faith. why didn't you clear the issue? i sat here and tried to fix our relationship. when all along, what we had was a bet that you made with her." tears pooling, once again.
"ARE YOU NOT GONNA SAY ANYTHING? at least tell me something. i defended you for the whole house. i told them we didn't work out because we weren't ready. I SHOULD'VE TOLD THEM THE TRUTH!" tears, now streaming down my face.
"y/n, i genuinely do love you. i didn't lie about that." he whispers. "i don't know what to believe. the past year was a whole lie, a bet to see if you could make me fall in love with you. well good going hacker, you won." i nod my head slowly.
"y/n, it did start of as a bet but i genuinely did- well am in love with you. i'm sorry, i should've told you sooner but i couldn't. i didn't wanna risk losing you." he finally looks at me.
"well you did, didn't you? whatever vinnie, it doesn't matter anymore. you'd rather have faith anytime right?" i scoff, remembering his words from the live.
"y/n... i didn't mean it, i just got upset." he walks closer to me. "GOOD ACTING VINNIE. just cut her the pity. y/n this was another bet to see if you're gullible enough to forgive him. he won both bets, cute. here's your 500." faith comes from the corner and hands vinnie the money.
"y/n... i- it's not like that, i promise." he grabs my arm. "it's not? so none of this meant anything? you never loved me, you didn't even like me. thanks for making me look stupid infront of millions of people." i sob through my tears.
"Y/N I DO LOVE YOU. CAN YOU STOP RUNNING AWAY!" he yells. my hand quickly slaps the side of his cheek. i watch him grab his face and look at me with tears in his eyes.
"i hate you." i walk in the house to see everybody watching. they instantly wraps their arms around me, comforting me.
