vinnie's pov
i look over at y/n who's zoning out. she's been quiet for the past few days and i know somethings bothering her. "y/n..?"
"mm?" she replies lowly. "can you look at me for a second?" i ask her. i see her slowly blink and sigh before looking at me. i look into her eyes, there not as happy as they use to be. they're dull and sad.
"what's wrong?" once i ask that question, her eyes begin to water and she quickly looks down. i know that look anywhere.
she quickly gets up and walks out the room.
"what the fuck did you do?" troy walks into my room.
"nothing. she's been off for the past few days and i wanted to see what's up with her. she got teary eyed and left the room." i tell him.
"have you not seen her comments? do you not have her account? her dms?" he asks me.
"no?.."
he pulls out his phone and shows me her comments.

i hand troy his phone back before i get even more upset. "she's been getting these for a while. when you guys first started dating a year ago, she got them. they got worse over the few two years. she's been keeping it from you because she doesn't want you to get upset." troy informs me.
"talk to her and do something about your fans." he scoffs and walks out my room. i sigh and automatically feel like a bad boyfriend.
i go live and do something i was suppose to do years ago.
"hey guys. uhm, i've seen the comments that you guys have been leaving y/n and it's disrespectful. it's something i don't want MY own "supporters" to be doing. so, i'm taking a break from social media. i don't know when i'll be back, but i'm gonna focus on my future and y/n." i tell them and end the live before they can even say anything else.
i go downstairs and look for y/n. i see her hanging her feet in the pool and i quietly walk over to her.
i sit down next to her and hug her into my chest, hearing her sniffles. "y/n, why didn't you tell me?"
"because i know you might've done something irrational and i don't need you quitting social media for no reason." i hear her.
"y/n, you're my girlfriend and best friend all in one. you mean a lot to me more than you know. if you're upset, this relationship isn't the same. you're more important than anything." i cup her face in my hands.
i sigh, her head still hanging low. i've never seen her like this since the first day i met her. she's always happy, full of energy, and annoying.
"i don't think i can do this vinnie.."
"what do you mean. y/n do NOT give up on this relationship because of outside opinions. do not leave us y/n." tears stinging my eyes.
"vinnie.. it's hard!" she finally looks up at me. i observe her facial features and everything about her. her eyes puffy and low. her facial expression completely different. she looks empty, like she's given up.
"y/n, i'm not leaving you. you think i'm gonna leave you? i'm gonna be with you, every step of the way wether you like it or not. we can get through this together." i calm her down.
"i love you." i kiss the top of her head.
"i love you too."
