"so you're saying we're done?" he asks. "yeah..." i whisper instantly regretting my words.
vinnie's pov
i watch her walk away and see her hand wipe away tears. i walk back into the house ready to yell at leeha. "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!?"i shout at my selfish sister.
she looks up with a grin. "what? obviously she doesn't care THAT much about you." she snickers. i look at her with disgust. "for you to be my sister, you act like a child. y/n broke up with me FOR YOU because she didn't wanna be disrespectful." i say.
"i could care less, now can you leave? chris is coming over." she ignores my words. "you're really gonna sit here and let y/n's brother come over after-? okay leeha. you're such a hypocrite."
"vinnie please. you're not even my real brother. you're HALF my brother, so shut up."
i nod my head and walk out.
1 hour later
10:00 pm
i hear shouting coming from leeha's room. i know she's mad but she's still somewhat my sister. i walk into her room to see chris and her arguing.
"YOU CALLED MY SISTER A BITCH? how are you gonna get mad at her when you're doing the same thing?! it was never that deep to begin with." chris tries to reason with her.
"i did and so what? just shut up and kiss me or something." she says. "nevermind leeha, this thing between us isn't going to work. i cant be with somebody who disrespects my sister." he shakes his head, exiting the door.
"oh hey vinnie. i'll try to talk to my sister." he daps me up. "hey, wait. i'll walk with you home." i say making him nod his head.
"so much for family over anything." leeha remarks y/n's favorite quote. "leeha you have no right to use that damn quote. you and me both know y/n is like family so i'm not loosing her. see you later."
time skip to them at y/n's house
y/n's pov
ever since i got home, all i did was take a shower and listen to music in bed. i hear chris leave the house, probably going to leeha's. i hear somebody knock at my door and get up to open it.
i look up and see a red eyed vinnie. i move aside for him to come in. "vinnie, it's late. you shouldn't be walking late at night."
"y/n please listen first. if you think i'm letting you go that easily, i'm not. i've known you for 18 years and i'm not letting them go to waste. i know you say family over anything but you've always been family before anything. i care about you a lot. please y/n, please don't let these 11 months go to waste." he pleads as his eyes well up with tears.
"vinnie, you know i can't when somebody doesn't approve, especially your own sister." i say. "y/n shut up and stop thinking about other people. are you happy?" he raises his voice.
"yeah..." i say lowly. "okay then stop. YOU'RE HAPPY! put yourself first not leeha or anybody else."
"he's right, stop putting me first. he makes you happy and that's all that matter. i'm sorry y/n." i hear leeha say from my doorway. i look at her and smile.
"are you sure? i ask. "positive. i'm really sorry y/n i shouldn't have acted that way. i don't want to loose my bestfriend." she says.
deep down i know we can't be how we use to. "i'm sorry leeha, i accept your apology and i'm sorry too but if you get that mad and say shit like that to me, i cant let it go. it's not the first time either, i constantly let you push me around. we can be friends though?" i finish.
i see tears fall down her face and she bites the inside of her cheek. "friends." she smiles. "and boyfriend?" vinnie butts in. "boyfriend." i giggle as he runs up and hugs me.
