narrative
"y/n please get in the shower and get ready. we have to film this video for youtube" liya tells her bestfriend. y/n has been in her room for the past week ever since the break up with vinnie.
"okay." she responds back. liya sighs and closes the door behind her to give y/n some privacy.
"is she getting ready or..?" jordan asks his girlfriend.
"she's getting ready. at least she said she was. is vinnie almost here?"
right on time, vinnie walks through the door. he looks just as hurt as y/n.
the friend group all look at eachother knowing how bad the breakup hurt both of their friends.

y/n finally walks downstairs and sees vinnie making her eyes instantly water. she takes a deep breath and walks over to the couch where everybody else waits for her.
"where do i sit..." she looks at everybody.
the only seat is next to vinnie. it wasn't on purpose, nobody really payed attention to the seating arrangements. i guess they got used to vinnie and y/n being by eachother.
"you can sit here." liya gets up.
"it's okay." y/n stops liya and sits next to vinnie.
"okay... i'll uhm start recording." kio starts the camera.

"this is for y/n... how have you been?"
"i've been fine i guess." she shrugs. vinnie side eyes the girl and can tell she's not okay. she's not as energetic and as smiley. y/n can feel his glare, but chooses to ignore it. she knows if she dares to even get a glimpse of him, she'll break down. he was the only thing that made her happy everyday.
"this is for vinnie... do you plan on leaving sway because of everything?"
"uhm... i don't know. i was thinking about it. i'm not sure tho." he shrugs. y/n turns her head away and closes her eyes, holding back tears.
the mood among the house is down, it's sad and kind of awkward. liya nudges kio next to her making him look at what she's looking at. he sees both of his bestfriends sad. he knows they're both about to cry at any moment. honestly, everybody can see it.
"we can do this some other day, it's okay." kio stops the video. y/n gets up almost instantly and goes to her room. once she closes her door, she lets go and tears rush down her face.
vinnie groans and looks down while tugging on his hair.
"go talk to her." maddy says as she rubs his back.
"but-"
"do it... you both know you miss eachother. please. i haven't seen you guys this down in such a long time." kio persuades. vinnie gets up and walks to y/n's room.
he stands behind her door debating on if he should or not.
y/n's pov
"y/n..." i hear a delicate voice from my door. i look up and see vinnie.
"what vinnie...?" i question lowly.
"i-" he gets stuck.
"vinnie what? what do you want?" i wipe my face.
"i really miss you y/n.." i hear him mumble.
"you have a funny way of showing it." i laugh.
"i do. i'm sorry okay, it's not all my fault. i'm sorry we didn't work out. but it's also your fault."
"yeah i KNOW that vinnie. that's what hurts the most. i really did.. do.. love you. it's not that easy when the person i got attached to leaves so easily. you think i don't miss how you used to hold me, how we use to laugh before going to sleep, i miss it vinnie. but you obviously have better shit to do." i let out what i've been holding in for the past week.
"y/n..."
"it's whatever. why are you even here?"
it's quiet as i look away and let the tears fall. i feel his arms wrap around me.
"i'm so sorry y/n. i never meant to hurt you. i love-"
"please don't say anything. i just want to stay like this one more time." i cut him off.
"i love you..." he mutters.
