y/n 's pov
i've been busy with so much homework. online school is okay but the amount of work and the time the work is due is beyond stressful. on top of that vinnie keeps texting me to come over.
"yes v?" i ask looking at my boyfriend's face pop up on the screen. "babeeee i'm bored and i miss you" ... "Y/N why aren't you paying attention" vinnie yells into the mic as i focus on my work and not him.
"vinnie i have a lot of homework , okay? i'll come over later i promise. i just want to finish this" tears filling my eyes as i become too stressed out.
"babe - i- alright. i'll let you get to it. i'll call you later. i love you" he says lowly as he hangs up. i instantly feel bad because i don't know if i came off too harsh.
i drop my pencil and start sobbing. all this homework , i barely slept because i've been thinking about my college applications and everything about my future.
my head was pounding as my head was in my hands , rethinking life. i hear my door creak open but i don't think much of it.
vinnie's pov
"babe - i- alright. i'll let you get to it. i'll call you later" i tell my girlfriend once i see her eyes getting glossy.
i know she's been stressed out with school and college. she tries to be happy and make everybody happy , but deep down i know she's all over the place.
i decided to go to the store and get her some snacks , drinks , and some flowers. she needs a break.

"hey y/n" i say as i peep my head through her door. i see the face i love to wake up to , turn around. eyes puffy , her eyes red not white , and her hair slightly messy. my love :(
"uhm.. oh hey v" she says with her voice hoarse and quickly wiping her face. "my love , i know you've been stressed with school and everything. you need a break please. you're so smart and i know you'll be fine. but please take a break and relax" i comfort my girlfriend as she lightly cries in my arms.
"i- i know vin. but - it- it's so mu-ch pre-ssure. i'm no-t re-ad-y for li-ife out of highs-ch-ool" she says choking on her tears.
"y/n i'll be here for you no matter what. but you're not going to be able to do anything if you're overdoing yourself. relax please. here i got your favorite snacks and drinks. let's watch some netflix and tomorrow you can get back to it. okay?" i say gesturing the snacks and flowers
"okay. but you didn't have to do all this love." she says looking into my eyes. i know how much she hates when i buy her things.
"but i wanted to."
and with that, we lay on her bed and watch netflix. slowly drifting to sleep with the girl i love the most
