"HELLOOO? EARTH TO Y/N?" jordan waves his hand in my face. i turn off my phone and look at him,"what?" "i was asking, what do you want to eat? i've been asking for the past three minutes but you're not paying attention."
in the corner of my eye i see maddy shaking her head. "he's gonna figure out if you're not careful." she mouths. i bite the inside of my cheek and focus back on jordan. "so what is it?" "just give me the usual."
"you know troy still wants to know if you're up for the date?" jordan mentions it again. he's been bugging me about it but i keep pushing it aside. he doesn't know i'm dating vinnie, everybody knows but him.
i glance at vinnie who's clenching his jaw. "uhm, no, i'm really busy this week. i'll pass." i come up with an excuse.
"y/n, no you don't. you're my sister and you have NOTHING to do. just go on the date with him. you've been lonely for such a long time." "and how do you know i have nothing to do." i raise an eyebrow. i don't know who this man thinks he is.
"okay then what do you have to do this week?" "she has to go shopping with me. it's a girl's weekend. we've been planning it for a while but never got to do it till this week." maddy helps me out.
"mm fine. whatever." "and why do i have to go on a date with troy out of all people? why not kio, vinnie, j or something!?" i ask.
"you're NOT dating vinnie or neither of them. i promise you i'll never to talk to you again if you do that shit." jordan, now, upset causing everybody in the room to get quiet.
"and why not? i can't date somebody i ACTUALLY like? you can't control my life jordan!" "YES I CAN! YOU'RE STILL A CHILD Y/N!"
"a child?" i scoff, "i'm a year younger than you. i'm not a child. i can make my own decisions." i'm now upset. i don't know why he thinks he can control my life and who i date.
"YOU'RE ONLY EIGHTEEN! shut up. you're not dating vinnie, end of discussion." "and why the fuck not? why are you only mentioning vinnie, i mentioned kio and-"
"JUST SHUT UP. YOU'RE NOT DATING EITHER OF THEM. LEAVE IT ALONE." jordan's voice loud and kind of intimidating. i've never seen him this mad nor has anybody else.
"anyways, i'm gonna go pick up the food. anybody wanna come?" jordan changes the subject. "i'll go." "i'll come." "mhm" basically everybody agrees except for vinnie and me.
"you better not do anything y/n and you too vinnie." he scolds before they all walk out. "i'll calm him down and try to convince him." maddy quickly whispers.
