vinnie's pov
y/n has always loved christmas and winter season. she's been talking about christmas since august. i love that she loves christmas so much, it's adorable.
as i walk out my room, i noticed it's kind of quiet, especially for y/n. i got downstairs to see y/n humming quietly to christmas music. she moves her head side to side as she moves around gently.
"VINNIE what the hell. you scared me" she turned around shocked. "sorry love" i chuckle as i kiss her.
"mhmhm. okay if you're gonna make fun of me, leave. i'm focused on christmas. move along" she says, making me raise my eyebrow. i turn around and walk back upstairs before i hear her say..
"VINNIE, can we please go to dunkin in a bit?" she asks me quietly. "holiday drinks?" "yes..." she replies to me. she gives me a smile, knowing i was gonna say yes already.
"okay, just tell me when you're ready to go" i laugh as she smiles and runs up to hug me. i hug her back and kiss the top of her head. she quickly goes back to the living room and separate all the tiny decorations.
i walk back to our room and think about how happy my girlfriend gets during november and december.
y/n's pov
i look back to see vinnie walk back upstairs. i set up the couch covers and blankets. setting a slight pattern of green and red all around. "y/n it's barely thanksgiving" i hear behind me.
i turn around to see kio. "kio, y'all always make fun of me EVERY year for celebrating christmas early. but then get excited and in the spirit right after i decorate. so, shut it"
"you didn't lie. but if you need help reaching anything call one of us." he mocks my height. i'm not even short-
"kio, i'm literally 5'7, that's not short. it's average and you're like 5'10 5'11 ish. you have no room to talk" i respond back, tipping my head to the side.
"but i'm still taller right? oh okay, bye shorty" he says, making me groan.
3rd person view
as y/n decorates the house with festive blankets, mini lights, and a few different ornaments. not going all out, just a few. the rest of the house are planning something big for y/n.
she keeps the house together and makes sure nobody fights. if they do, she's always the one to break it up and force them to make up. they wanted to show their appreciation this year.
2 hours later, y/n finally finishes the whole house. the house very festive, or as she says "half spirit". there's no christmas trees, or big decors, just mini things.
the rest of her friends go downstairs and see what she did. they all smile warmly as they enjoy how much effort and dedication y/n puts in.
"i love this year" "christmas y/n is my favorite" "y/n is so pure" the different sayings coming from the house. "oh, hey" y/n says tiredly.
"you good?" troy asks her. everybody looking at her, seeing she's out of breath for some reason. "yeah i'm fine. just lifting all those heavy containers weren't the best"
"okay enough chit chat, y/n wanna go get your coffee now?" vinnie asks his girlfriend. her eyes lit up as she rapidly nods her head.
the couple makes their way out and the others do what they've been planing for the past 2 hours.
as vinnie and y/n are in the drive through about to order their drinks, he looks over to see y/n dosing of. he chuckles at the sight. he gets the drink she's been getting since last year, a mocha peppermint latte.
they shortly arrive back at the house and he tries to wake y/n up. "mm what" she stirs in her sleep. "cmon there's something i need you to see"
vinnie walking being y/n, she opens the door...
y/n's pov
they really did... "i- but why? you guys don't like decorations this early. the earliest you guys let me decorate is after thanksgiving?!" i ask shocked.
"we know but you always do things for us that you don't like but you still do it because it makes us happy" vinnie says, as the rest of the house hums in agreement.
"thank YOUUU" i hug them all. i look around to see the mini trees put up, the light crystals hung up, and a few more christmas decorations up that i usually put up after thanksgiving.
"we didn't do the trees in the living room or any of the other rooms and the blankets because we know that's something you love to put your time in." j says. my heart...
"thank youu" i say in awe. "say thank you to vinnie, he had the idea in the first place" maddy informs me.
i turn around to smile at vinnie and hug him. "thank you" i whisper while pecking his lips. "mhm now can we please go upstairs and watch holiday movies" he mumbles in my ear.
"yeah sure... just watching movies..." i quietly remark, making him laugh.

i guess a holiday imagine. yeah yeah last year everybody use to make fun of me for enjoying xmas early🙄. now they love xmas oh so early. smhh..
