y/n's pov
i look at my computer seeing that i got accepted to my dream college. i walk over to vinnie to tell him the news. "vinnie." i walk behind him as he plays games.
"what's up love?" he kisses my hand that's resting on his shoulders. "you remember how i applied for-" i look up and see that he's streaming. "applied for what?" he urges me to continue.
"you're streaming?" i question. "yeah, but keep going i'm listening." "nevermind, i'll tell you later." i unwrap my arms and walk out our room.
4 hours later
vinnie still isn't done streaming. it's around six o'clock and our food just got here. "VINNIE THE FOOD IS HERE!" i yell up the stairs. "OKAY!" he yells back.
i place his food on the table and begin to eat mine. we usually talk about our day during dinner but i guess he's busy streaming. i pick at my food, no noise being heard except for vinnie yelling from the room.

i finish my food and throw away my trash. "hey y/n... you're done already?" vinnie kisses my cheek. "it's been an hour vinnie. yeah, i'm done with my food." i push past him and go upstairs.
"wait- what's wrong?" he tugs my arm. "nothing. i just had something to tell you."
"go ahead and tell me." he smiles. "i got accep-" his phone rings. "hold on." vinnie answers the call making me groan. whatever. i shake my head and go into the living room.
"i'm sorry y/n but i need to talk to our manager really quickly. i'm so sorry. i'll listen to you when i get home. i promise." he hugs me tightly. "okay..."
5 hours later
i lay in bed waiting for vinnie to get home. he said they're working on something big for social media so he's being held back longer than usual. i guess i'll just wait till tomorrow.
"i'm so sorry, there was issues with everybody. i didn't know i was gonna be this late. i'll take a shower and then i'll listen to your day." vinnie walks into the bedroom.

"okay what is it?" he wraps his arms around me. "you remember how i applied for that college?" i ask. "mhm." he mumbles. i look up and see vinnie's eyes closed. he's tired.
i trace the outline of his tattoos and sigh. "what is it y/n? i'm listening." "it's okay vin, i'll just tell you tomorrow. you're tired. it can wait." i reassure.
"no go ahead, i'm-... lis..tening" his words uneven due his tiredness. "anyways, how was work?"
"it was good. kind of tiring. nobody could come to a mutual agreement and it was annoying." his arms loosening by the second, indicating he's falling asleep.
"y/n tell me what it is, you seemed excited to tell me." vinnie tries to keep himself awake. "it's nothing, i just got accepted into the college."
"YOU DID? THAT'S GREAT!! Y/N YOU SHOULD'VE TOLD ME. I WOULD'VE STOPPED STREAMING!" he now sits up and starts yelling excitedly.
"it's late babe, why are you yelling? but it's fine. that's really all i had to tell you." "that's great love. i'm happy for you!" he engulfs me in a hug.
