y/n's pov "ready y/n?" vinnie asks from the doorway. "yeah.." i rub my hands on my jeans. "babe you're gonna do fine, im gonna be there with you." he reassures.
he knows i suck at making friends and meeting new people, they're usually the ones who start conversations but i don't wanna make a bad impression on his closest friends.

we make it to the restaurant and i feel vinnie hold my hand before we got out the car. "be yourself y/n, i promise they'll like you." i nod my head and we make our way inside.
as we walk inside the restaurant i see his group of friends already talking and laughing. it's more people than i expected. i feel myself start to get nervous and my heart beat faster.
"babe relax, i'm here." vinnie squeezes my hand. "this is y/n? she's much prettier than i thought" i hear a red head girl say. is that a complement or?
"sorry that came out wrong. you're just super pretty to be vinnie's girlfriend. i'm maddy." she engulfs me in a hug. "y/n" i reply.
she smiles and introduces me to liya. "vinnie's right, you are gorgeous." she hugs me also. they both seem like sweet girls, now on to the boys.
"i'm jordan, maddy's boyfriend. vinnie talks about you A LOT." he gives me a side hug. "i'm the other jordan, jordan powell. liya's boyfriend." he hugs me as well.
"i'm anthony." another blond headed boy approaches me. "and i'm avani, his girlfriend. i can tell we'll be bestfriends" she tightly hugs me.
we eventually sit down and i feel my face get hot. i'm getting nervous again, i feel like they don't like me. my leg starts to bounce up and down and i slightly bit my inner cheek.
"excuse us for a second, i need y/n to see something for me." i hear vinnie. he grabs my head and leads me out the restaurant. "what happened?" i ask concerned.
"babe, we can do this another day. you're shaking and i knew you're not good with meeting new people. they'd understand." vinnie cups my face.
"no, it's fine. i'm fine. i'll be fine. don't worry" i say. he looks unsure and i hear avani, liya, and maddy next to us. "can we talk to y/n?" maddy asks.
"i'll be inside." he mouths making me nod. "you okay?" they ask. "yeah i'm fine." i smile. "vinnie told us you're not good with meeting new people and you get really nervous. honestly, we're all the same way when we met them too. but we already love you. you make vinnie happy and you seem sincere." liya finishes.
i let out a breath of relief, making my nerves go down a bit. "don't be nervous around us, you're already out bestfriend." they pull me into a group hug. we walk back into the restaurant and sit down together.
"you know y/n, vinnie was just as nervous as you when he told us about you and how beautiful you are. how you're dimples pop out. how-" jordan mocks before vinnie's hand slaps over his mouth.

"it was nice meeting you y/n. we'll for sure see you again." jordan and liya hug me goodbye. liya quickly exchanges number with me along with avani and maddy.
"bye, we love you both!!!" his friends yell at us.
"see they love you." vinnie kisses my forehead.
