On our way back we go through a drive through, seeing how it's too late and I'm not feeling like cooking and I'm not letting corpse. We eat the food in the car as the sun sets. 'We looked like a couple.' He says. I turn to him, caught of guard. 'The- the man said that!' He says quickly when he realizes he spoke out loud. 'He did.' I say before taking another chicken nugget. He looks at me 'what are we?' I look down at my lap, not sure. 'I don't know.' He hums as he looks away. I don't really know what we are, but I know I like him. Confessing is not one of my strong suits. 'But at least we're good, right?' I ask as I see corpse frowning in thought. He looks at me and smiles softly 'yeah, we're good.'

We get back to his place. right when I stap through the door my phone rings. It's the landlord of the apartment I live in now.

'Good evening.'
'Evening, Amy. Am I calling at a good time?'
'Sure. What's going on.'
'I have someone interested in your apartment. Therefore I pulled out a contract to end your official stay here.'
'Really? Already?'
'Yes, is that possible?'
'Uhm, yeah alright. I'll try to move out within the two days following.'
'Good, then I'll meet up with you for the papers.'
'Okay. See you tomorrow then.'
'Alright. Have a good evening.'
'You too, bye.'

I hang up and place my hand on my forehead. I need a new place soon then. 'Everything okay?' Corpse asks. I look up at him. 'I have two days to move out of my apartment.' I tell him. 'That's not too bad. Call the landlord of the other apartment and get things settled.' He says. 'But.... are you sure?' I ask him. He chuckles 'I am. As long as you let me stay over sometime.' He says. I chuckle and hug him. 'You're always welcome.' I mumble into his shoulder. 'Then call, get this settled as soon as possible.' I nod and take out my phone. I call the other landlord and he greets me happily after I told him who I am.

'Made up your mind?'
'Yes. If it's possible I'd like to move in as soon as possible.'
'And the pay is alright? Nothing the matter.'
'No it's perfect. I'm sure I'll love living there.'
'Great! I can meet up tomorrow, you can have access to the apartment to move in your furniture. Though the official key hand over will take a bit longer.'
'Oh that'd be perfect. Thank you so much.'

We decide to meet at eleven, as I meet my old landlord at nine. I drop down on the couch. Suddenly a lot is going on. I have two days off before I need to be back at work.
I go to bed early, knowing the two busy days ahead of me.

I lay awake at six. It's early but I'm wide awake. Knowing I'll need all the time I can get, I quietly get up and get dressed. I need to start packing my things at my apartment. I quietly walk back into the bedroom to see that corpse is still asleep. I move the sheets a bit more over him and kiss his head before walking out and writing a note.

Good morning!
I woke up early and couldn't sleep so I thought I'd be useful.
I'll be at my apartment to start packing.
If you need me just text or call.

Have a nice day.
X Amelia.

I lay it on the kitchen counter and head out. It's been a while since I was in my apartment. I make a stop at the store and buy some boxes before heading to my place. When there I start with clearing out the kitchen. Cups, glasses, plates and cutlery go first. The other small things like baking stuff and other loose things. Around eight I boxed up everything I need to keep from my kitchen. I throw out the old things. If I somehow can get it done to pack everything today, I can clean tomorrow. I called my sister, asking if she could come with her small camper to move bigger things. She agreed. I write kitchen on the boxes I have so far before starting on little things in My living room. Important files form the drawers. Books, picture frames, candles, flower pots. Halfway through there's a knock on my door. Looking at the time, I must be the landlord.

I open the door and he greets me. I let him in and we sit down. 'Already packing I see.' He says as he looks at the boxes. 'Yeah, two days is not that long.' I say. 'Sure isn't....' he says. 'Well what do I need to do?' I ask. He lays down some papers in front of me. The first is end your rent. To stop payment. The second is agreeing to the terms. Besides that I'll fix everything else and send them to you when they're done.' Alright. I sign both papers. 'Thank you very much. I hope you can find a place soon.' He says as he stands up. 'Already have.' I say with a smile. 'Ah that's great. takes some weight off of your shoulder.' I nod in agreement. When I open the door to let him out I see corpse with a mask on, holding his hand up to knock. 'Oh! Hello.' The landlord says. Corpse steps aside to let him in 'good morning.' He says back politely. 'We'll I wish you all the good luck and I'll see you tomorrow evening.' I nod 'Thank you.' He walks off and corpse steps inside, taking off his mask after I closed the door. 'What are you doing here?' I ask. 'Read the note. You could use help.' He says. I take his hand in mine, the one he can't move. 'no lifting.' I say. 'I'll do what I can. Maybe clean?' He asks. I look at him before nodding. 'I cleared out the kitchen, if you don't mind you could start there.' I say. He nods and starts on his way. I open the new back door and then the gate of my yard. I parked my car right in front so it's a short walk. I get the first boxes and put them in the car. It's already full after six of them. I continue packing the living room.

I walk into the kitchen needing to go to the new apartment to be on time. I put my hand on his back as he cleans out the cupboard. 'I gotta go to the new place. Wanna come?' I ask. 'Sure.' He says as he puts the things down.

When we arrive the landlord is waiting outside even though we're early. 'Good morning!' He says as friendly as he is. 'Hey.' I say. Corpse shakes the man's hand. 'So it's going to be yours?' He asks me. 'Sure is.' I say. 'Follow me to my office.' He says. We follow him and sit down. We have a talk about rules and payment. I sign a document and get a copy. 'That should be all. You can get the key next week.' He says. 'That's great. And it was okay if I bring my things up there already?' I ask. 'Two days was enough, right?' The man asks. 'Yes.' He nods. 'Very well.' He hands me a key. 'Bring it back tomorrow evening.' He says. 'I will, thank you.' He nods with a smile and we get out. I carry the boxes up and put them in the apartment before heading back to my old one. I do a new load of boxes as corpse offers to stay and clean.

At six we sit on the couch in my empty living room. Pizza we ordered in front of us. We did a hell of a lot in just one day. Corpse cleaned the kitchen and the bathroom while I packed all small things and brought them to the new place. Now it's just the big furniture.

Luckily my sister will come
