127. Relief.

I peek into corpse's office.

Its late at night but he's still up and the two person bed is lonely.

Okay to be fair it's not that late.
I just want attention.

He's streaming so I quietly walk over to see what he's doing.
Even though he didn't hear, he notices me behind him.

He pushes a button and turns around. 'Hey.' He says. 'Hi.' I say. He looks at me a little longer before moving the chair back 'want to watch?' He asks. I happily take place on his lap. He rolls back to the desk and pushes the button again. 'Yeah, no I'm back.' He says. I see Jack in the game so I pat his arm 'say hi to Sean for me.' I whisper. It's proximity chat so he follows Jack 'Jack. Jack, Amy says hi.' Corpse says. I can hear Sean's upbeat voice through the headphones but I can't understand what he's saying. 'He's saying that he needs you to come visit again.' Corpse says. 'Oh I want to, yeah.' I say.

I sit there watching corpse play and all the nice comments he gets. I smile as I try to read as they fly by.

The longer it goes on the more corpse moves his arms. I roll the both of us back so I can sit the other way around. When I am I'm facing him. 'You okay?' I ask. He nods as he keeps playing. I massage his shoulders and after a bit move down his arms. He sighs, letting me know it's relieving some of the pain, so I keep going till my fingers hurt and take a short break.

After a bit I start again, but he moves his arms to pull me into a tight hug.
'Thank you, love. If your hands hurt you should stop.' He says. I look up at him and give him a smile 'my hands are okay. Let me help.' I say. He smiles back and kisses my head before going back to his game. Especially when I rub his lower arm he lets out sighs, making me smile knowing it's doing something.

When the stream ends he picks me up and walks to the bedroom.
He sets me down on the bed and kisses me 'You're amazing, thank you.' He says. I smile before kissing him as well.

After a bit he gets up 'go to sleep, I'll be there in a bit.' He says before walking out. I know for a fact that he won't be able to sleep with his arms like that, but I get under the sheets anyways and wait for corpse to come.

He lays down next to be after turning off the lights.

'How are the arms?' I ask as I move to hold his hand. 'Not as bad as they would have been without you.' He says before kissing my forehead. 'That's not good enough.' I say as I wiggle my way closer to him. 'Go lay on your own side darling, you won't sleep this close to me.' He says. 'No.' I say as I rest my chin against his shoulder. He always wants me further away because he's scared to keep my awake by all the moving he does when his arms hurt.

'Im staying close to you no matter what.' I mumble before I kiss his neck, seeing how that's what I'm closest too. 'I have no say in it?' He asks. 'Nope.' He chuckles 'alright. Goodnight Amelia.' I hum and snuggle more into corpse 'night.'
