I nervously tap my fingers on the table.
Selene left for the day and will only come back tonight to get her things and say bye.

So I'm alone.
In the same apartment as corpse.

Yet he feels miles away.

Even after dinner time, he only left the room to head to the bathroom. He can get water there and has a toilet there, so I guess he could live up there. I sit curled up like a ball as I absentmindedly watch a show. Pebbles has gone upstairs to join corpse as Leo lays at my feet. I guess she choose.

I could occasionally hear him sniffle throughout the day.

When it happens again, I had enough of it.
I walk up the stairs, opening the bedroom door. 'I've had enough.' I say as I cross my arms, standing in front of him. To my surprise, he looks up. Dark circles under his eyes as they are red from crying. Tears leaving his eyes. 'Please.' His voice breaks and is so bad that I can barely understand him. 'What do you want from me?' I ask. He moves his head down, crying a little more uncontrollable now. 'I need you.' He says. 'Are you sure?' I ask. He looks up and nods. 'Tell me you're sure. I don't want to have you running off again.' I say.

He stands up 'please just come here.' He says as he pulls me closer by my sweater and hugs me. 'We're still not okay.' I say as I don't hug him back. 'I know, I know.' We stand like that for a while. 'Better quit ignoring me.' I say. 'I will. I'm so fucking sorry, I'm so scared we would break up, or that you'd leave or you'd be done with me. I-I I could sleep and w-' I squish his face between my hand 'shut the fuck up. I'm not leaving. Period.' I say. He takes my hands from his face. 'I'm sorry for letting you sleep on the couch. I'm sorry for not at least bringing a blanket. I'm sorry to have made you cry.' He says.

'You left out the first and biggest thing.' I say.

He looks away 'I didn't mean to run off like that. I just felt scared.' He says. I grab his shoulder and shake him lightly 'then fucking tell meeeee.' I say. He chuckles a little, making me smile before it makes me sad. Tears well up in my eyes 'I'm sorry baby. Dont cry.' He says as he holds my face in his hands and wipes away the tears. 'You scared the carp out of me.' I say as I can't hold back the tears. 'I-' i hick. 'I though you.....' he pulls me into his chest and hugs me. Making me hug him back now. Tears stain his shirt as his warmth surrounds me. 'I missed you.'  He says softly. 'Just.... tell me what happens in your mind. Tell me why, every time you get upset, you push me away.' I say.

We sit down on the bed.
'It's just that.... I used to deal with everything alone. Always. Everyone that tried to console me in the beginning ended up being just another reason for me to be upset.' He says. I stay quiet as I look at my hands. 'I was scared the same would happen with you.' He says. I slap the back of his head, like I would do to any of the guys from my team when they say something stupid. 'Are you fucking dumb?' I ask. He chuckles 'probably.' He says. 'How many times will I have to tell, you that I'm not leaving. How many times till you believe me?' He takes my hand in his, playing with my fingers. 'What if I can't give you an answer?' He asks. 'The answer wouldn't matter.' I say. He looks up, confused. 'If it would be twenty times, or a million. I'd still keep going after I would have reached the number.' I say. He smiles softly. 'I want this to stop. I want to stop all this messed up shit. I want us to be together. Happily.' I say. 'I want that too.' Corpse says. 'Then you better act like it because ignoring me pisses me off insanely much.' I say. 'I won't do it again.' He says. I hold up my pinky 'pinky promise you'll try to let me in next time?' He looks at me like I'm joking, but I nod down to my hand. He links his pinky 'I picky Promise I'll try to be better.' He says. 'No!' I say. 'Huh?' He looks surprised. 'You don't have to be better. But try to let me in.' I say. He pulls me in for a hug. 'I love you.' He whispers.

Right when I want to answer, the door downstairs opens.

'I'm back! Shit better be fixed!'
