Night has fallen and everyone is digging holes to cook their dinner. I show corpse how we do it, digging a hole, building a small fire and putting the pot on it. 'So you just dig?' He asks. 'Yeh.' He watches the fire 'Why though, you could just build it on the ground right?' He asks. 'Nope.' Jonson says as he walks bay. 'The fire could go out because of wind.' Micheals says as he follows Jonson. 'And.... enemies will see your fire from miles away.' I add. He chuckles 'damn.' He says with a laugh. I pat his back as I lean against him 'it's okay, you have a lot to learn.'

In our sleeping bags, under the cover hanging above us, way lay on the fallen leaves in the woods. Hearing everyone talk softly. 'Cozy.' Corpse says. I giggle as he scoots closer in his sleeping bag. 'How is it so far?' I ask. 'Good. But I feel like we need to talk.' I struggle to get my hand out of my sleeping bag, and when I do I reach out and place my hand on his cheek. 'What do you want to talk about?' I ask. 'I didn't hurt her.' He says. 'Oh, hunny I know.' I say. He looks me in my eyes 'I know you doubt me.' He says. 'I-' 'and that's reasonable.' He says after. I frown 'I'll tell you more when we get home. I don't want to ruin anything.' He says. I kiss him 'as you wish.' I say. He chuckles 'well that's nice.'

Three hours have passed and my watch beeps, waking me up. Corpse groans. I yawn and stop the watch. '4: 30.' I say. 'The hell.' Corpse mumbles. 'Time to get up.' I say as I sit up. I smack his chest, getting a whine. 'I just fell asleep.' He says. 'Good for you.' I mumble. I get on my jacket and boots and get up, taking my flashlight with me. I shine it at corpse. 'Morning handsome.' He covers his eyes. 'I'll break up with you if you don't fuck off.' He says. I chuckle 'get you're ass out, you're Lieutenant for the weekend.' I say. He rolls over 'nah.'

I shine into the cover of Jackson. Both he and his brother wiggle around, trying to get away from the bright light. 'Jackson and Jackson. Time to get up, I need the others awake too.' Jackson is up in a second as his brother tries to keep up. 'I'll get em to the tent.' He answers as he still looks asleep but stands ready. 'Thanks.' I say.

I look back down, seeing corpse is still not up. 'Hi.' I say as I kneel down with the flashlight in his face. 'Amelia.' He grumbles as he puts his face back into the sleeping bag. I kneel down and turn the light off. 'You wanted to see what its like to be here, get your cute ass out of the sleeping bag.' I say. I hear him chuckle from inside. I open the top, having him pop his head out. 'I request a kiss.' He says. 'Just that?' Smithy asks teasingly. He gets smacked on his arm by his grandfather, making me chuckle. 'Let them have their moment!' Brooks yells. 'My god.' I say as I facepalm and drop back so I'm sitting down. Corpse is now up and putting on his jacket. 'Smithyyyyy.' Williams whines. 'Shut up.' I snap back.

We're walking around the lake, as long as it takes to have everyone awake. Corpse quietly walks next to me, seeming tired. 'So fresh air is not doing you any good.' I ask as I bump into him. 'No.' He says back sleepily. 'We're walking till you're fully awake.' I say. 'You're mean.' 'Welcome in our world, mah man.' Eversman says. I want to tell him to stop talking but I can't help but laugh. 'And now you know, I'm terribly nice to you.' I say. He pushes me away a little.

We walk till the sun is up before the truck comes with breakfast. 'Take your meds.' Corpse looks up before going through his bag. 'Ey C, how'd ya sleep?' Jonson asks. 'Ah calmly till she waked me up.' He answers. 'Ah man, me too.' He says as he sits down next to corpse. 'I don't get how you're her boyfriend, man.' Jonson says. 'Me neither.' Corpse says as he looks at me. 'Different reasons man.'

'I want to know.' Corpse turns to me. 'Why would they say you're harsh and abusive?' I ask. He seems surprised. 'A.... Amelia we should.... we should talk when we're home. Alone.' Corpse says. 'I'm going insane.' I say as I shake my head. 'Amelia I don't want to talk about it.' He seems defensive. 'Why?' I ask softly. 'Because....' he turns to me and hesitates. 'I'm not happy with how things went.' He says. I frown. 'Why?' He turns away 'we'll talk further at home.' He says. 'Please.' I ask him. 'Ey C!' He gets up immediately 'another time.'
