'Come on Amyyyy' Sean whines over the phone.
'I don't know them.' I chuckle.

Sean wants me to join discord with him and a group of friends to play Among Us.

'But they're really nice! And I already kind of said you were joining.' He says.

I sigh and get up, walking to my pc. 'Okay fine. Send me the code. Though you need to introduce me!' I tell him. 'Yesss! I'll send it.' He hangs up and send the code after a minute. I join the call and Sean excitedly greets me. 'Oh hey Amy!' Rea says. 'Hi!' I say. 'So everyone, this is my friend Amy. Amy, everyone.' Sean says to introduce me. Everyone says hallo

'oh god.' I say with a chuckle 'what's wrong?' Dave asks. I spoke to Dave before. 'I'm just really nervous.' I say while letting out a breathy laugh. 'Ahww, don't be!' Rachel says. 'Yeah don't be!' Dan says. 'Thank you, you all seem nice.' I say. I only know Dave, Rachel and Sean. 'You can stick with me if you want.' A low voice says. My heart skips a beat at the surprising low voice 'oh that would be nice. I don't really know what I'm doing.' I say. 'Sure.' The guy says. 'Wow!' Sean exclaims. 'What?' I ask. Others start to laugh 'omg! How did you not react to Corpse's voice?!' Lilly asks. 'What do you mean?' I ask as I hear the guy chuckle. 'Oh well it's really low, but how was I supposed to react?' I ask. 'Normally people start yelling stuff.' Sean says.

'Oh, well..... NICE VOICE DUDE.' I yell.

Everyone laughs 't-thank you.' The guys says. 'Well Lets start the game.' Felix says. We join the game and I stay in the cafeteria, not knowing with who I made the deal to stick together. 'Still want to stay together this round?' The guy with the low voice says. He's the black character, Corpse. 'If you don't mind.' I say. This proximity chat is really helpful.

During the game I stay with Corpse but at some point I loose him. And get killed by Sean. 'No!' I shriek out. 'Welcome to the dead society.' Dan says. I laugh 'thanks man.' After a bit I come across corpse and decide to stick with him. He ends up killing PJ, surprising me because we were together all the time.

When they win the round I chime in 'How were you imposter?!' I say. Corpse chuckles as others laugh 'He did say he'd stick with you.' Sean says calmly. 'Yes, and the second I loose her, you kill her.' He says bitterly. Everyone laughs again 'You sad about it, corpse.' Rea asks. He stays silent.

After nearly two hours I decide it's time I stop. I say bye to everyone end leave the discord call. Hungry, I immediately get up and head to the kitchen, leaving my pc on. I walk into the kitchen to find very little in my fridge. While closing it and looking through my other cabinets I hear a beep coming from my computer, Making me turn. I open the fridge one more time, still not seeing anything I like. When I look at my computer again I see a message. It's corpse.

Corpse: it was nice to meet you.

I smile at the text. Right when I want to want to answer I hear a loud bang coming from the living room. I immediately get up and get my pocket knife from my night stand. I make my way out and check what the sound was. The door to my small yard is slightly open. That door doesn't just open on its own. I look around the room but find nothing there. 'Pebbles?' I call out to my cat. I hear a bark coming from outside. 'Leo?' I say as I walk over to the door. Knife in hand I open it and find my dog 'what's going on bud?' I ask as I look around. He barks again and right after I hear something in the hedge that surrounds my part of the yard. 'Leo, come here bud.' He makes his way to me and I lock the door when he's inside. 'How the hell.....' I shake off the weird situation and get ready to head to bed.

It's been five days since the I played with everyone. It's already late but seeing how I don't feel like sleeping, I head out to get groceries a couple of blocks from my apartment. It's 11:30 pm
