83. (No idea)

As I wait for the water to be done boiling, someone hugs me from behind. The second the person leans into me it's confirming that it's corpse. 'What are you doing out of bed?' I ask. He holds me a little tighter. I place my hand over his arm. I pour the hot water into the three cups and add honey to corpse's. When it's done he sits on the couch and I call Selene. She comes down the stairs as hug her brother before sitting down and looking worried. 'So you have lung inflammation?' She asks. He nods. 'He got medication, so he should be feeling better soon.' I say. He's already coughing less, he's till having a fever though. 'I can cook tonight if that's okay?' Selene says. 'Shit.' I say. 'What?' She asks. 'Groceries.' I say back. 'Oh we can go get some.' She says. I look at corpse before nodding.

I throw on my jacket, still wearing my work uniform. I cover it up as much as I can. 'We'll be right back.' I say to corpse. He nods. I kiss his head before walking out with Selene.

We head to the grocery store. 'Oh!' She says. I follow her, curious to see what she saw. She pulls out cinnamon bread 'corpse loved this when he was younger.' She says. 'Really?' I ask. 'Mhm.' She says. 'Well Lets take it with us then.' I say. She places it in the cart. She brings some lollipops for herself. I but ice cream. And some things for dinner. 'Should I make soup tonight?' She asks. 'Yeah, that would be best.' I say. She nods and gets the ingredients. 'I'm happy that you're together with my brother.' She says. 'Really, why?' I ask with a smile. 'He seems happy. And I think I can trust you.' She says. She smiles at me 'He needs someone like you by his side.' I smile as I look down. The dinner party from work pops up in my head. 'By the way, there's a dinner party from work soon, I'm allowed to bring two people along, want to join me and corpse?' I ask. 'Oh! Yeah, sure.' She says. I smile at her.

We get home and we unpack the groceries before Selene gets started on dinner.
I lay down on top of corpse on the couch. I lay my head on his chest and he moves his hands to lay on my back. He breathes in deeply, making me look up. He moves hair out of my face and smiles softly. 'You're cough got less.' I say. 'Yeah.' He answers in a rough voice. I kiss his chest and lay my head back down. I'm exhausted my running around and not having slept well. I close my eye and listen to his heartbeat.

'Oh no that's okay.' I blink my eyes to see Selene standing in front of us with two bowls. 'Oh, timing.' She says. I move to sit up and corpse sits up straighter too. She hands the soup over. I'm a bit too sleepy as I hold the hot soup. 'You should really head to bed early today.' Selene says as she sits down next to me.

So I do. I lay I bed next to corpse. I want to sleep but my mind reminds me of tomorrow. My birthday. I sigh and close my eyes. Just go to sleep. It'll pass.
