When I get back he's hidden in his office again. I open the door without knocking. He looks up from having his head in his hands 'are you out of your fucking mind?' I ask as I cross my arms. 'I didn't expect you to come back.' He says. 'If you don't want me to, you could tell me.' I say. 'No! No, that's not it.' He says. 'Then cut me some slack! I don't know why you've been acting like such an asshole, but I'm not taking this any longer.' I say. 'I didn't know he was-' 'even then! Why would you say things like that. That I don't trust you. That I care more about Evan.' I say. 'Can you at least tell me why you don't talk about work at all?' He asks. 'Oh forget it, corpse. Cant you understand that it's traumatizing and I don't want to go through it again while telling you.' I say. He stays silent as he awkwardly stands behind his desk. I sigh and shake my head 'I've had enough of you doubting me. Leave if you can't let me be.' I say before walking out.

'Walking away is a good way to do this, isn't it?' He asks as he follows me out into the hallway. 'You're the one that hid away in your office all of yesterday.' I snap back. 'Oh come on, what would you have wanted me to say?' He asks. 'Nothing. Nothing at all, yet you kept on talking.' I say as I start further on my way. 'Very mature.' He says, making me stop. 'Don't make me do something I'll regret.' I warn. I make my way to the living room and head upstairs, grabbing my military bag and my things along with some normal clothes.

I get down the stairs and walk past corpse. 'I'm leaving for a while. I don't know what to do with you.' I say. 'What is that going to solve?' He asks as he watches me. 'You tell me.' I say as I get my shoes on. 'Where are you going then?' He asks. 'Why would you care?' I ask as I throw on my jacket. 'Because you're my girlfriend.' He says. I stop and look at him 'and if you want me to stay that, then you better start to figure your shit out.' I throw the bags over my shoulder and open the door. 'Goodbye Corpse.' I say before closing the door.

I huff as I walk over to the elevator.

I throw my things in the car and I sit down, pulling out my phone.

'Military Base Newport, with Natalie.'
'Good afternoon, I want to ask if there are some rooms free?'
'Your name and station?'
'Lieutenant Harris of the 15th.'
'Alright Lieutenant. There is a room free.'
'Alright, I'm heading over, can you reserve the room?'
'Yes ma'am.'
'Thank you.'
'Anytime Lieutenant.'

I hang up and sigh and hit my head on the steering wheel, accidentally honking the horn, making myself and a pedestrian jump. I smile awkwardly as I hold up my hand in apologie.

Then the base it is.
