Not able to adjust to home yet, I'm sleeping in the clothes I would sleep in back there.
I get up off the ground and walk down the stairs and to the kitchen, getting a glass of water. As I walk out I see corpse sitting in the couch, looking through his phone.
Suddenly I feel distant from him. I only said a few words to him since I'm back. It may be my fault, or it's him still being upset about me having left. I set the glass down on the kitchen counter and walk over to him, taking his phone and laying it next to him before I sit in his lap, wrapping my legs around his waist as I hug him tightly. 'I'm sorry.' I say as I feel his hands rub my back. 'Don't be. I'm glad to have you back.' He says. I pull back a little and look him over 'I've missed you.' He leans forward and places his forehead against mine. Finally it feels like I'm back. I'm still a little out of it, and still need to get used to being home, but I'm back together with him. I smile as I place my hands on his shoulder. 'I'm sorry if I still may be a little different. It's hard to immediately switch back to being home.' I explain 'I know. I tried to give you some space.' I smile at his words. 'Thank you.' I whisper. He leans in and kisses me softly before I hear footsteps walking up.
'Would you look at this.' Eve says with a grin as she looks at us. I immediately move away from corpse and try to hide my blushing face as he clears his throat, looking away from Eve as well. 'So who said you two weren't dating?' I hide my face in my hands and groan. 'Why are you up?' I ask. 'I heard noises, and had to go to the bathroom.' She says. 'You guys do your thing.' She says as she heads back upstairs. 'Oh my god.' He says with a laugh. 'Shhhh!' I slap his arm. 'What?' He asks still chuckling. 'It's not funny! How will we explain?' I ask in a loud whisper. Corpse grins and pushes me back on the couch before leaning over me. My face heats up as I look away. 'What is there to explain, she knows what she saw.' He whispers before kissing me again. I push him back a little by his shoulders, but he moves his hands to my sides to stop me from squirming. He accidentally places his hand on the gunshot wound, making me whine. He pulls back quickly 'sorry. I'm sorry!' He helps me sit up 'it's okay, just... be a bit more careful.' I say. He nods as he looks down at the spot worriedly.
We head to bed and fall asleep in each other's embrace.
'So we'll be out till late.' Eve says as she puts on heels, looking ready to go somewhere fancy with her two boys. 'Alright.' I say. 'You are supposed to join.' Micheal says. I look at him, confused. 'Yeah go get dressed.' Eve says. Corpse is already out to get groceries. 'He knows, don't worry.' Micheal says as he sees me looking around. 'Okay hold on.' I say before I quickly go upstairs. I put on a black dress and some makeup. I hurry downstairs and put on heels. 'good enough?' I ask Eve. She nods with a smile.
We head out, to some fair. It seems weird to go here first, and Micheal keeps checking his watch. After about half an hour we head back to the car. 'So you head back home, we'll go somewhere else.' Eve says. 'What?' I ask. 'We needed you out of the apartment for at least an hour.' I frown and cross my arms. 'Why?' Eve shrugs as she helps Tyler into the car. 'Have a nice evening sis!' She gets in and they drive off, leaving me at my car.
I sigh, a little confused as I get into my own car.
I guess I can't do anything else but head back.
