'Morning fellas.' I say as I walk up to the group. To tired to be a little more stern. 'Jesus.' Jackson says with a laugh. Even though he's way taller and bigger then me, I smack the back of his head 'shut up.' I mumble as I rub my head. They all move to stand in line. 'Today we'll be reevaluating the training of this weekend. And I'll te putting you guys in New privates. I want to see how you train them.' I say. They nod. 'So. Anything we need to say first.' I ask. 'The reasoning of don't go on deployment with the person you're married to or in a relationship with is reasonable.' Williams says. I let out a breathy laugh and nod. 'Yes, what else.' They think 'putting someone's health at risk is not allowed.' Jonson says I nod.

We keep going till everything is done.

At lunch smithy plops down next to me. 'Smithy.' I say while I keep eating. 'Hi! I Uhm... are you okay, you look tired... ma'am.' He says. 'That's because I am.' I say. 'May I ask why, Lieutenant?' I turn to him as Marksen looks like he's wondering why too, as he sits in front of me. 'My boyfriends sister came over last night. She had some trouble.' I explain. Smithy's eyes widen. 'The sister that came along on the open day?' He asks. I remember him blushing while talking to her, so I let out a laugh 'Yes, smithy, that sister.' I say. 'Is She okay? What happened?' He asks. 'Not that it's any of your concern, but here boyfriend was an asshole and they broke up.' I say. He seems exited and sad at the same time. I smack the back of his head 'don't look so happy.' I say. 'So She came to you and C in the middle of the night?' Marksen asks to turn my attention to him. 'Yeah, he kicked her out, she needed a place to stay.' I say. He nods before taking a bite off his food. 'He is coming to the party in two weeks, right?' He asks. 'I can ask. He's not one for parties though.' I say. 'Well if he's willing, ask his sister too.' Marksen says. Smithy beams at Marksen's suggestion. 'Alright.' I answer. Eversman sits next to Marksen and across from smithy. 'So How is the groups boyfriend doing?' He asks. 'What?' I ask with a confused look. 'C. I bet he's going to get ill because he got that cold.' Eversman asks. 'Did you just call him the group's boyfriend?' I ask with a laugh. 'Yeah.' Eversman answers. 'Marksen.' I point at Eversman and he gets what I mean, and smacks him in the back of his head 'thank you.' I say before continuing my lunch.

Two hours later I get back home, finding Selene watching a movie on the couch. 'Hi Amy!' Selene says as he turns to me. 'Hey.' I say as I take off my boots. I unbutton the uniforms jacket before taking off my beret. 'What are you watching?' I ask 'a Christmas movie.' She answers, making me chuckle. 'Already?' I ask. 'It's November!' She says like it's not weird at all. 'Fair enough.' I say seeing how it's two weeks before December. I huff as I make my way to the kitchen. My birthday is in three days. I rub my head, hoping to rub away the headache. I smile as I see corpse at the stove. When I walk over he turns around. Smiling and pulling me in for a hug. I let out a breath, happy to be home again. 'How was Your day?' Corpse ask. His voice sounds painfully rough. More then normal. He has red cheeks, making me feel his forehead. 'It was fine. Are you feeling okay?' I ask. He takes my hand from his head 'just a cold.' He says. I give him a short kiss 'need me to get something for you?' I ask. 'No, it's alright. Though don't get so close, I don't want you to get sick too.' He says. 'Too late.' I say with a smirk. 'We haven't talked about Christmas.' He states as he turns back to check on the food. 'What about Christmas?' I ask. 'What do you want to do?' He asks me as I wrap myself around his arm as he steers. 'Being with you is enough.' I say. He looks down at me 'you don't want to do anything or go anywhere?' 'No.' I say as I snuggle into his shoulder. 'Oh, I do have one thing.' I start. 'Okay.' He says back. 'There is this party / dinner from work. They asked if you could come along and maybe even Selene.' I say. He hums and goes to taste the food. 'I'll think about it.' He says before kissing my head and walking around me to get something behind me. 'Thank you.' I say back.

We eat on the couch. I look at corpse as he sits on the far end of the couch, Selene between us. His eyes meet mine and he gives me a questioning look. I look away and hug the pillow a little closer. I want to lay down against him and be warm. I catch myself pouting a little, and recompose myself.

'How are you feeling Selene?' I ask. 'I'm alright. I'm just worried about where I could live.' She says. 'I understand.' I say back. 'My old apartment isn't sold yet.' Corpse says, making both Selene and me look at him. He shrugs 'just saying.' He says before turning back to the tv. 'And you're free to stay here till you find a place.' I say. 'Thank you.' She says as she pulls her legs to her chest.

At ten in the evening, Selene is asleep agains corpse as he sips his tea.
'Eve may invite us over for Christmas.' I say, talking quietly so I don't wake Selene. 'She will?' He asks. 'Yeah, we do that every year. I cook and stuff and stay at her place for one night.' I say. 'Ah. That's nice.' He says. 'My mom and uncle come too then.' I say. He stays quiet. Just so he knows.
