'You sure you don't want to talk about it?' He asks.
I nod.

It's after dinner and we're watching tv. Corpse wants to know what is going on, but I don't feel comfortable telling him. So I change the subject. 'There's this training soon.' I say, his face saddens a little. 'Everyone is allowed to bring one person of choice.' I say. He now seems confused. 'Wanted to ask if you would like to come along. It's from Friday to Sunday.' I say. 'With the guys I met?' He asks. 'Mhm. They really wanted you to come.' I say. He smiles 'Sure, I'd like to.' He says.

We sit on the couch the rest for the evening before we hear a weird sound. I look at corpse to see if he made the sound, but he didn't. 'What was that?' I ask. It sounds again but this time keeps going. Corpse wants to get up, but I hold him still. 'Doesn't that sound like...... breathing?' I ask. It's higher pitched and sounds bad. Now we both get up. Is it Leo? 'Leo?' I hear him get up and walk over but it obviously isn't him. 'Bimbus?' Corpse asks. 'Shit! It's him!' I say as we both start to look around. I find him under the coffee table. Eyes closed and tiny mouth open. I grab him and hold him close to me 'corpse I got em.' I say as he's sill looking around. He quickly runs over 'oh no. What's going on?' He asks. 'I don't know, but we should head to a vet.' I say. 'Are they still open at this hour?' He asks. 'Then call, but Bimbus needs help.' I say. He pulls out his phone and makes the call. While calling he starts to put in his shoes, signing for me to come over too. 'Okay we'll be right there.' He says as he takes the sick kitten from me. I put on my shoes and head out with him.

He holds the kitten and looks worried while I drive us there. When we're nearly there the breathing stops completely. 'What do I do?!' He asks me. 'I don't know, we're nearly there.' I say. When we arrive We immediately get out and head inside. When they see what's going on they take Bimbus from corpse and make up wait in the waiting room. He looks a little lost. 'Come sit bub.' I say as I pat the chair next to mine. He sits down and starts to bounce his leg. I take his hand I'm mine and kiss his cheek, seeing how we're the only ones there. 'What if he died in my hands just now?' He asks. 'Don't be silly. It's your mystery kitten, remember?' I say. He chuckles while still looking a little sad.
