Cassarian|| One Shots

1. ENGLISH

It's been 4 years since Cassandra left Corona to look for her destiny, which she still hasn't found.  Varian has never forgotten her and still has strong feelings for her.

He has grown up now, he is no longer 16 but 20 and has changed physically as well.  It's much taller now.
I could surpass Cassandra in height, the boy thought when he started to grow up.  He is also one of the very few who forgave Cassandra for what she did to him many years ago.

"So Raps is okay for you?"  the young man asks Rapunzel, now queen and wife of the captain of the guards, that is, Eugene.

"Yes, it's perfect," the brunette exults.

"Well your Majesty.  Now I'd go home and rest for a while, if you don't mind" Varian says gently and politely.  Even if he and Rapunzel are friends, there must be a minimum of respect, she is still the queen.

After the girl agrees, Varian exits the room and as he heads towards the castle exit he bumps into something or, rather, someone.

"Excuse me" the boy apologizes and in the meantime he hears a very familiar laugh.

"You have always been so careless and so you will stay, Varian"

As soon as he turns in the direction of the voice he cannot believe it.  His Cassandra, more beautiful than ever, stands there watching him amused.

"Cassandra," she says with her voice in a whisper and in wonder.
Varian wastes no time as he fades into Cass's open arms, who invites him to an affectionate and nostalgic hug from both of them.

"But look at how you've grown," Cassandra teases him.

"Well yes, now, after 4 years, I have exceeded you in height" says the boy still stunned by the scent of the woman he loves so much.

"You're still wearing the necklace I made for you," notes Varian in amazement.

"Sure, I always have it on me.  I never get rid of it" smiles Cassandra.

At that smile, Varian's heart begins to beat faster, stronger than ever, confirming that his love has never faded.

"Well, then I'd go say hello to Rapunzel, see you Var"

"See you," the boy replies, smiling and seeing her ride his horse Fidella.

Cassie, I missed you, thinks the boy still in a trance for Cassandra's arrival.

After returning home Quirin, his dad, asked him a lot of questions about why he was happy.  In fact, you could see the happiness in his face miles away, only you didn't know why and Varian has no intention of telling anyone, much less his father who could judge him for his falling in love with Cassandra.

Suddenly the young man hears a knock on the door, so he goes to open it seeing Rapunzel with Eugene.

"Hey Varian! Did you hear about Cassandra's arrival?"  asks the brunette.

"Oh yes, I met her on my way home.  Why did you come up to Old Corona to tell me? "  the boy asks curiously.

"Because we have news for you," Eugene continues.

"The first.  There's going to be some sort of reception tonight for Cass' return and then the project went great.  So as our trusted Royal engineer we have decided that you will live in the castle.  In one of the rooms next to Cassandra.  Always if you accept" says the queen of Corona.

After accepting this fantastic offer with pleasure, the boy cannot help but cheer.  In short, living in the castle of Corona is a fantastic thing, especially if you can be close to the person you love.  But in this regard Varian sadly wonders how long his beloved Cassie will stay.
