It was a summer day and Cassandra was training hard to prove to her dad that she was capable of being a guard.  It was her dream from an early age and she would do anything to make it happen.
She had been engaged to Varian, a royal engineer and alchemist, for three years now. Confessing her feelings was difficult enough as she had always been a person who tended to hide what she felt, but still the relationship was progressing quite well. The two guys had in mind to move from the castle to be able to move in together.  They were 8 years apart, but age had never been a problem for them, even though some Coronians often judged them.

"Hello, my love!"  Varian greeted, frightening Varian the girl who was training.

"Oh hi Varian, you scared me," Cassandra said.

"Sorry Cassie," laughed the alchemist and gave her a light kiss on the cheek.

Varian sat watching her girlfriend, in all her beauty, as she trained.  Suddenly, however, Cassandra was injured and Varian immediately ran to her.

"Cassie, hey, are you okay?"

"Yeah, I-I just hurt my arm with the sword. I wasn't focused and I cut myself. But don't worry, I'm fine."

"No, you're not well. You're bleeding. Let's go to the infirmary of the castle."

So Varian helped Cassandra up, who had collapsed to the ground in her pain.  They then headed for the infirmary where a doctor wrapped Cassandra's arm with a bandage.
As soon as we got to the young woman's room, Varian said something that the young woman would never have expected.

"You have to stop training, you can't become a guard"

"Wait, what? Varian, are you kidding I hope"

"No, unfortunately not. Cassie, it's too dangerous for you."

"Don't call me Cassie" Cassandra said harshly "And no, it's not dangerous for me Varian. I want to be a guard since I was 5. I want it, I want it so badly and even if you are my boyfriend you have no right to tell me this. Clear? "

"Cassandra I-. I'm sorry, you're right. I'm just a fool, forgive me."

"Let's talk tomorrow, bye Varian."

Cassandra said these words hard and cold, and as soon as you heard, Varian walked out of his girlfriend's room with his head down.

"Ah, I'm just a fool, Owl. In the end he apologized, right?"

Owl snorted and Cassandra continued talking to him, as if she could answer.

"You're right, I have to go immediately to him" so Cassandra got out of bed where she was curled up and immediately ran to her boyfriend.

"Varian," she shouted as she entered the alchemist's room.

"Cassie-. Sorry Cassandra, what are you doing here? I was wrong and-" Cassandra silenced him with a kiss and pushed him to the wall.

"Call me Cassie, please," she said in an excited voice.

The intimacy of the two guys touched each other causing even more excitement to both, as they continued to kiss.

"C-Cassie," Varian panted.

"Yes, my love?"  Cassandra didn't stop kissing him for a second.

"I love you," Varian said, then took her by her thighs and placed her carefully on the bed.

"I love you, I love you, I love you" the boy continued to say as he entered her.

"V-Varian, please. Faster.. Faster" Cassandra panted.

When they both came, they lay down in bed, starting to kiss and caress.

"Sorry Cass, I had to lean on your dream. Don't say you don't have to cultivate it. I know you will make it, you will become the coolest and beautiful guard of all guards in this world."

"I love you," Cassandra said, before falling asleep on Varian's chest who kissed her on the head.
