Cassandra has been engaged to Andrew for 3 months.  She gets along well with him, but knows full well that he's not the person she wants.  In fact, ever since he decided that his fate is not out there, but in Corona with his friends, he feels a sense of jealousy towards one person in particular, the trusted Royal engineer, Varian.

"Hey, love," Andrew says to his fiancée as they take a leisurely stroll around Corona.

"Yes?" the girl asks.

"These days I see you a bit strange with me .. did something happen?"

Cassandra sighs and goes to sit on a bench nearby.
"Honestly, yes" the raven-haired girl admits, "I don't think I've ever loved you" she says, turning to Andrew.

"So why did you say yes when I asked you to put us together?"

"To make a boy jealous" Cassandra says noticing Varian going down that street and then continues "I'm so sorry Andrew"

“I'm sorry too, but that's okay.  After all, we don't choose who to fall in love with, do we?"  Cassandra nods.

After saying goodbye, like now friends, Cass goes in search of Varian to confess to him what he feels.

The young woman heads to the castle to look for him, but she notices him talking to Faith, a royal handmaid, so that she gets a sudden jealousy, never experienced with anyone. Blinded by jealousy, she decides to go and interrupt the conversation.

"Hey Var!"  greets Cassandra without glancing at Faith.

"Hey, hi Cassie.  I was just talking to Faith about you" Varian says.

Hearing the name Cassie, Cassandra gives her a spontaneous smile.

"Well, about what?" Cassandra asks.

"Well, I can't tell you now.  See you tonight if you want and .. and I'll tell you.  Maybe we'll meet in the village café" Varian says shyly.

"I think I should I go" the handmaid says as she leaves, but it seems that neither of them has noticed, so busy getting lost in the other's eyes.

"Agree. But wait, is it a date?"  the raven asks curiously.

"If you want it to be.." Varian says, leaving with a mocking tone.

Even though Varian doesn't see her, Cassandra just stood there with a goofy smile.  He will have his first date with Varian!  Cassandra can't be happier than that.

"Your house is on the other side," the girl tells him.

"Oh yes, sure" the boy says carelessly "But how do you know I have to go-"

"Intuition," the girl says, cutting off what Varian was saying.  So the boy starts walking in the right direction again.

Cassandra decides to go to the castle to visit her best friend Rapunzel and tell them what happened today.

"So, who are you going to date?"  Rapunzel asks sitting in her bed in her room.  Cassandra sighs.

"Promise you won't judge me?"

"You are my best friend, I would never do it and then why should I do it?"  says the brunette trying to calm her friend.

"Because that person is… is Varian," Cassandra says shyly.

"And should I judge you for this?  I've always known you are made for each other, ”Rapunzel smiles at her friend.
The two give each other a hug and the raven thanks her.

"But there's a problem," Cassandra says.

"What problem?"  Rapunzel says, breaking free from the hug with a questioning air.  So the friend decides to confess.

"He is younger than me, what will people say? They will judge me, us and I don't want this for him and me "

Rapunzel begins to explain that no one will judge them, as he is of age and they don't have many years of difference.

“Thanks Raps.  It's late, I'm going to get ready and then meet him" says Cassandra.

"Sure and good luck.  Then I want all the details ehh" says the brunette, winking at her friend who blushes.

In the corridor she collides with Eugene who, after teasing her as always, wishes her good luck with the boy and so Cassandra goes to her room to get ready.

As soon as Varian sees Cassandra, he immediately smiles.

"You- You're beautiful" Varian says, watching her.

She is dressed in a simple way, a black blouse with tight black pants.

"Thank you very much," the young woman smiles and blushes.

They sit at the table and order something to eat.

"So.. what did you want to tell me?"  Cassandra says curiously.

"Well, I-" Varian starts, but is interrupted by the waiter bringing what they ordered to the table.

"Let's do like this.  Let's eat and then take a walk around Corona, so I'll tell you, okay? ”Cass nods her head in accordance with what Varian says.

After paying, the two get up and take a walk and after a while they stop on a bench.

"What I wanted to tell you is-" the young man begins but is interrupted by Cassandra's lips pressing on those of the boy.

"Did you want to tell me this?" the girl asks mockingly.

"Yes, how-"

"Intuition" shrugs the girl.

"So now we-" Varian starts.

"Are we together?  Yes, Var, if you want it "

"Of course I want it," and another kiss full of love is given.
