An alternate version of Cassandra's Revenge and Nothing Left To Lose. I hope that the song rewrited makes some sense, even if in my head it does! As you will see it hasn't changed much and in addition I have removed the final part because... well then you will see. I reminded you that the part in parentheses is of Cassandra.

After kidnapping Varian, Cassandra at the suggestion of Zhan Tiri, if we may say so, she searched for a place to create a fortress. She decided to build it where Mother Gothel's tower once stood, now destroyed by black rocks.
When Varian woke up, still stunned, he asked "Where are we?"
"I need the third incantation, Varian" Cassandra said very calmly.
"Never!" Varian exclaimed.
"Listen Varian.. I know none of this is your fault and I don't want to hurt you, but I will if you don't give me that third incantation" Cassandra said.
Even if Cassandra wouldn't have that incantation from Varian she would never hurt him. She couldn't and she didn't want to hurt him, because deep down she cared about him, maybe in a way she didn't have to, but she cared.
"Ok, then I propose you something.. something that will suit at both.." the girl said in a mysterious tone "I.. I give you a-a k-kiss and you give me the third incantation"
"What?" asked the surprised boy.
"You heard what I said, kid. So are you in it or not?" the young woman said without patience.
Varian didn't know what to do. He had always wanted a kiss from the woman he loves, but by giving the third incantation he would risk losing the friendship and trust of Rapunzel, Eugene and the others. It chose his heart for him.
"Okay, I'm in," Varian said.
"Perfect," Cass said in an evil voice.
When Cassandra untied Varian, who was tied to a black rock, he stood up. He approached Cassandra's face slowly, his heart beating fast. He put his hand on her cheek and finally her two lips touched. They both felt a jolt of pleasure at the contact. It was a kiss without a tongue, just lips against lips, but it was also full of... love. Or at least that's what Varian felt from Cass.
When they parted from the kiss, they looked at each other for a moment and then turned away.
Cassandra didn't want to admit that kissing him she had felt emotions that she would never have thought she would feel, such as butterflies in the stomach or an accelerated heartbeat. In that instant Cassandra felt free, she felt herself and above all she felt the Cassandra of the past, when that time, at the science expo, Varian gave her the necklace. Three years had passed, but she remembered everything perfectly well.
"Ok.. I would say that now it's my turn," Varian said still upset by that kiss so intense, but sweet.
"No!" Cassandra shouted.
"No? But Cassie, this was our agreement and I... I have to respect it" upon hearing the nickname "Cassie", Cassandra gave a start, but she did not move from her decision.
"And I don't want it to be respected, so don't tell me the incantation"
"Why Cass?" Varian asked.
"Why.. I don't know why, but that kiss.. that kiss changed everything, but at the same time I want revenge, revenge against Rapunzel"
"Cassandra, you are angry and confused, I get it
Believe me, I know what it's like
But please don't make my mistake" Varian said and began to sing.
"The path of hate is a dangerous track
You take one step and it's hard to turn back
It pulls you along
And thought it seems wrong, it feels right"
"Don't you see this path you're on leaves a permanent mark
Maybe it fells good for you, but it's so bad for me
With each passing day
You're further astray from the light" Varian sang, moving closer to her, but Cass walked away from him.
"Come with me, don't lose your way and don't lose the thread

Every loss is harder to excuse"
"Please don't lose your faith and don't lose your love
You can lose complete control
And realize there's nothing left to lose
And nothing left to love" Varian ran and with his hand took her right arm. Cassandra did not shy away from her grip.
"Cassie, trust me, becoming the villain isn't the answer," Varian said trying to help her, but she felt hurt hearing these words, so she pulled away.
"Is that what you think I am?" she said she and glared at Varian angrily causing him to back away.
"The path I'm on is a path paved in black
I'm taking that road and I'm not looking back
Each twist and each turn
Leads straight where I'm yearning to go"
"Yes, it's true, my path is dark but I see where it ends
My rivals will falls as my power ascends
Despise me, that's fine
I'm taking what's mine even so"
"Not like you
You lost your nerve, you lost the game
But you and I, at last we're the same
I'm not lost, this fate was mine to choose" sang Cassandra.
"So I chose to lose my doubts and lose my chains
Lose each weakness that remains
Now that I have nothing left to love
Nothing left to love" tears rolled from Cassie and Varian slowly approached her, taking her hands.
"You have so much to hold onto," Varian sang softly.
"I only want, you with me" was the girl's response and with more energy they sang together.
"Listen please, you don't lost me (Love)
And don't lost your soul (I'm gonna love)
You won't lost me, don't be so blind (I hope this)
You will never lost me"
"Cause I love you" they said in unison.
And here's another kiss. Their lips joined in need of that contact. This kiss, however, was more intense and with more pain than the other. Tears flowed copiously from both, making the kiss wet, but full of meaning.
When they broke away they both smiled and rested their foreheads on top of each other. They stayed like that for seconds, minutes, hours... who can say?
Suddenly Varian said "Cassie, I love you, as I never thought I loved and I think you know this, I just ask you to do the right thing"
"Var, for what it's worth.." Cass sighed "I feel the same for you and yes, I'll do the right thing. I'll go to Rapunzel, I'll apologize and everything will be okay. We can live our happily ever after, forever"

Hello Cassarian fan! I don't usually write the famous "Author's Notes", but I thought this time can serve. First of all I apologize for my terrible English and I hope I wrote the song well. Second... ahhh, I'd say this is my favorite oneshot so far. It has everything that I wish it would have happened in the series, but that sadly didn't happen, but still I'm content with "Nothing Left To Lose". I partly wanted to rewrite this song only for the final part, when they both say "I love you". Confidentially when the voices of Jeremy and Eden (Varian and Cassandra) come together the "I love you" I hear haha. I hope I'm not the only one. In any case, I leave it up to you to choose how this oneshot could continue. Please let me know in the comments!
