Cassandra is training hard to defeat the enemies that will soon attack Corona. Varian, her boyfriend, is preparing potions with alchemy that can weaken them. Rapunzel and Eugene, now King and Queen of the Crown, will fight alongside their friends and royal guards, of which Cassandra is captain.
The leader of the enemy side is Andrew, the most feared villain of the seven kingdoms. Days back he came to threaten Corona and its host. The queen immediately took action and instructed all guards to train, which they are doing now as well.

"Well, the show starts today," confesses Andrew to his henchmen. "We only have to do one thing. Kill Varian for turning his back on us long ago."
"But sir, isn't it better to attack everyone?"
"Silence. And now to attack"

While everyone is training Cassandra takes Varian aside, who has come to observe the training of his beloved.
"Hey Cassie, what's wrong?"
"Var, I just wanted to remind you that I love you and that I will do everything to protect you. It's a promise."
"My love, there is no need, you know I can get by-. BEWARE!" Varian then yells seeing that one of Andrew's henchmen is about to attack her.
Cassandra manages to get the sword in time and begins to fight.
"Varian, go away," Cassandra commands as she continues to fight.
"But-"
"Go, I said," the girl yells and Varian does what he is told.
The boy goes to get his alchemical potions to be able to fight, but suddenly Andrew approaches him and stabs him in the abdomen.
"Noo!!" Cassandra screams seeing what happened.
"Our task has been done, let's go" Andrew shouts satisfied to his henchmen.
Cassandra immediately reaches the boy and, all those present who have stopped fighting with Andrew's retreat, go to see what happened.
"C-Cassie" coughs Varian.
"Varian, you were an idiot, I told you to leave, not to fight and ... and now you are dying"
"It's ok, really. Don't worry about me," the boy barely says.
"No, is not okay. I swore on myself to protect you, I didn't and now you're dying in my arms" Cassandra starts crying.
"Shh, don't cry" the boy tries to calm her down.
"How am I going to live without you?"
"You will do it, I promise you. I love you Cas..."
"No no no no Varian, stay with me.. please stay with me.." Cassandra seeing the man of her life die in her arms screams a resounding "No".
"I love you Var, and I will always do it" she says giving a light kiss on the lips of her beloved.
