He was silent for a second, still processing the news I had just given him. "I want to do good, and the law..the law doesn't allow me. Hell I didn't even get anywhere in Sarah's case until you gave me the file.. so I-." I was interrupted with a kiss. A passionate one. I smiled through it and let him absorb me. His thoughts were mine and mine were his. We were one on the same boat. As we split he hugged me for that my head was on his shoulder, I could feel him biting his lip in anticipation. "Are you sure though? There's no going back once we tell Adam." I nodded. "Yes, but only bad people right?" "Mhm, and you'll always have a say so there's no way he could go behind our back." I sighed in relief and we parted as the male and female came back with ramen and a box. We ate up the soup and after we finished, they slid the box over to us. The box was thin with a big width. We opened it to find 2 masks. One a regular male and the other a female mask with..red lips. My eyes widened as the male and female opened the door for Adam. "Do you like them?" He asked. "I knew you two would make great additions so I went ahead and made you my right hand man and woman. He came up to me and lifted the mask to my face. "This is the only one in the world with red lips." The woman held my hair back and secured it in a ponytail as Adam placed the mask on my rosy cheeks. "I hope you like them." I looked at Tanner once it was on to find him with the male mask on. It fitted him nicely, and for once in my life I felt powerful.

Adam must've noticed as he helped us stand and took us to a car, outside of the facility. From there on he told us how things were going to go. We would be almost the face of the cult. He told us that there are different plants with different needs. One was for reformation while the others were for death to bad people. Adam just needed us to be there with him for some occasions. Like in a week when we would be testing a man named Clint Edwards. Apparently he had been investigating the dark web a little too much. However Adam wanted to test something out that night. Wether or not he would sacrifice his life for another woman's. I didn't think it was a bad idea since I was curious too.

~Time Skip~

We had been dropped off at my house. It was good to finally be home. It was much nicer than that sewer looking facility. Tanner and I put our masks on the table and cooked dinner. Chicken Alfredo to be precise. I was in the middle of boiling the pasta when I got a call from Layla. "Hello?" "Luna!" I giggled "yes?" "I'm home! Now open the door. It's cold and Ein doesn't like it." I hung up and told Tanner to hide the masks. He grabbed them and hid them in a cabinet. Which was pretty smart since they wouldn't be looking there. I exhaled and opened the door. "Luna!!" Layla yelled as she tackled me on the floor in a aggressive hug. "Hey Lay." I rubbed her back while she straddle my lap and held me close. "I missed you! More than usual!" I laughed and sat up. "How was the honeymoon?" She blew a raspberry, blowing off the question with a wave of hand. "We have all night to talk about that but I'm curious on what you did." "We just stayed home and watched movies. There's not much to do without yo-."

I stopped talking when she got up from my lap and walked over to Tanner. She slapped him and then grabbed his collar. "Lay-!" "YOU HAVENT PURPOSED YET?!" "No..was I supposed t-." "YES! ITS BEEN ALMOST A YEAR OF YOU TWO DATING." He laughed and calmed her down, reassuring her that he was going to do it. I honestly didn't see that much in marriage. I mean like yea it was nice but then again it could be broken just as easily. Tanner did a motion in his hand to his head to signal that Layla was crazy. Ein and I laughed while Layla was confused. After we died down I went back to boiling the pasta.

Luna didn't seemed dazed by the marriage conversation. Maybe it's because her parents didn't last but I had the feeling she didn't care one way or the other. But I wanted her to care, I wanted it to last and for that we could settle down and live a happy life together as a family. I had already bought the ring too, right after the night with Vincent. Before I even knew she was pregnant. It might be insensitive of me to think about having a child so soon after her miscarriage, so I won't bring it up until at least another year. Or until she wants to. There was no doubt in my mind that she and I would last. And I would personally take care of anyone who would try to harm her. Hell I'm still working on Travis and Anthony, and now that she's part of Nior I might even have a shot of doing it with no complications.
