We spent the rest of the night playing card and board games while watching a show. What show? I don't know, I was too busy trying to beat Tanner and Ein's asses in monopoly. Ein had three big slots while Tanner had two. I on the other hand had four. "YOU SEE THIS?!" I flashed my money in Ein's face. "MMM YEAAA SOMETHING YOU'll NEVER HAVE!" "YOURE ONLY WINNING BECAUSE LAURENCE WONT GIVE ME MY GOD DAMN MONEY!" "IM TRYING TO COUNT IT OUT!" "FOR HOW LONG?! TWENTY MINUTES?!" "DONT BLAME ME, I DIDNT ASK TO BE THE BANKER!" They started screaming as Layla was silently counting her money with a smile and Tanner was trying to steal my railroad. "PAWS OFF TANNER!" "JUST GIVE ME ONE RAILROAD, IM THE UNDER DOG!" We tackled for the little house that claimed the railroad while Laurence and Ein were still fighting. "DO YOU WANT ME TO BE THE BANKER?!" "NO YOU'LL JUST STEAL ALL THE MONEY!" "NO I WONT YOU DIP SHIT!" Next thing I know were all tackling each other. Til we hear the dice roll. We all freeze and see Layla with the biggest lot we've been working towards. "Boom." She slammed the money down on the board. "THATS HOW ITS DONE BITCHES!"

~TIME SKIP~

I smiled at the fond memories I had made tonight while staring out the window. "Did you have fun tonight?" I nodded. "I definitely needed a time out from all the drama. And thankfully I got one." I smiled and kissed Tanner's cheek. His cheek turned the pinkish red I always saw them in and I turned up the radio. Listening to the true crime reports I had in my car. "-The man was found with 27 stab wounds to the abdomen and 2 on his neck. Police officials say to keep away from places that are dark and cramped, like alleyways, to kee-." Tanner sighed. "He's getting sloppy." "Who is?" "None of your business." He smiled at me while patting my head. I didn't want to press further but one thing stayed on my mind. "Tanner?" "Yes?" "I don't know if this is out of the blue or if you've been thinking about it too, but... should we buy a house together?" Tanner almost stopped in the middle of the road when I said that but as the rain pelted on the roof of the car I could tell he was just waiting for me to say it. "I mean.. we're engaged... and-." "Let's do it." My face went to a surprised look and I whipped my head to look at him. "One floor, Two floor, three floor I don't care. Let's just do it. Together." I smiled as he pulled into the grocery store parking lot. We needed to buy some stuff so we decided to do the shopping before we went home. But since it was raining we hurried our asses into the store and grabbed a cart. I don't know why but I loved hearing the rain on the ceiling of the super market. Especially with the sound of high heels. But I couldn't really enjoy it for long. Due to the fact that I started feeling anxious. Usually Tanner would be the one to hold onto my sleeve when he felt socially anxious or tired but I never did it. I never felt the need to since I was never this on edge when he was around but I felt like someone was watching me who wasn't Tanner.

I grabbed his sleeve. "Tanner..." I felt woozy and I guess he got that since the next thing I know I'm feeling him grab me by my shoulder and put me under him while he pushed the cart. "Let's go home.." I nodded and he took us to the self check out. Half way there, the feeling went away and I went back to my old self. Joking and goofing around with him while we went to the car. "I'm gonna put the cart away, I'll be back." He said as he pushed the cart to the drop off. I nodded and decided to wait in the car before stopping with the sight of a rose on my windshield. I went to reach for it when my work instincts kicked in. I retracted my hand and started walking away. "Nope, no, naha, not today, not ever. TANNER!" I walked over to him with crossed arms "did you leave a rose on the windshield?" "No...?" I groaned and got out my pepper spray while he got out his gloves and a plastic baggy. Don't know why he had those ready on hand but he is a chemist. "You grab the rose and I get in right?" "Mhmmm." He kept his smile on as we slowly walked back to the car.

He checked under it before I got in and told me to lock the doors as soon as I hit the seat. I did and waited the ten seconds it took for him to collect the rose to open the car and let him in. Afterwards he drove us home. Putting away the groceries with me before going to bed. "Tanner." He opened his eyes with the smile lighting up his face. "Yessss?" "Hm- how many floors is our house gonna be?" "Well how many do you want to be?" I shrugged and made a 'i don't know.' Sound. "Two?" He softly lit a smile and brought me closer to kiss my forehead. Holding my body til I eventually went to sleep. But I never did as a question stayed in my mind. I exhaled and gathered my courage. "We gotta talk about the elephant in the room." "What elephant?" I unburied my face his chest; "kids." I could feel his heart rate quicken but his face stayed the same. "What about them?" "Don't play coy, I know you want kids so how about we try again? After we get married and have the house." His smile dropped. I got confused. 'Does he not want kids? I thought he did since he was so ready for Val's but-.... maybe he just didn't want kids with me...' I was snapped out of my head with a hand on my cheek. "Luna... we still have you to think about.." he put his other hand on my stomach. "From a medical point. You're body might not be able to handle another pregnancy.." "but you do want kids right?" He softly exhaled through his nose and broke his gaze with my stomach for my eyes. "Yes, but At the right time." He brought me closer for our foreheads to touch. "With you." I closed my eyes and lightly kissed his lips. "Ok... we'll wait." I whispered.
