"You look beautiful my dear." He said while feeling up my sides again. "It's a shame I can't have you alone tonight... perhaps next time we can experiment with new things. Such as wardrobe if your willing..." I giggled under my breath. "Maybe.. but for now.." I shoo'ed his hand away as I sat on his knee. "I need to talk to you about something.." "What is it hot cakes?" .. "Did you hurt Airi and Evelyn- or anyone for that matter, That I know?" He stared at me for a little bit before answering me with a reliving conclusion. "No. I would never hurt them... in fact! I called them all over for dinner tonight." My smile dropped. "Even?.." "yes even him." I stood up and started pacing. "Think about it moonshine! Just imagine the sweet sweet taste of revenge when he sees You. How You're dressed up. How You and I fit together! I mean.." he stood in front of my pacing and held my hands. "Just think about the-the Power we'll have over his mind." He scoffed a laugh before holding my face in his hands. "It's gonna be a ruling of the ages." I looked up at him with a look different than his smile. "You're a criminal, don't you think he'll find that out?! And if we make him jealous that'll-." Next thing I know Tanner is on my lips. Too excited at the thought of us to hear my warnings. Or to care about them, as he thought they were just little over thought concerns I put too much time into. We split after a while but his smile still remained. "Ready to head out moonshine?" I nodded and with that he held my hand to leave the house and go into a car. Which then lead us to a nice looking hall. It was almost a townhouse but multiplied by 100. Like a mega townhouse or something. Tanner held my hand as we walked up the stairs. Knocking on the double door when we got to the top of the stairs. The breather answered with a smile on his face a tux on his body. "Hello Breather." Tanner said. But the breather only snickered as he opened the door for us. Walking in front when he was done. "So are you guys fashionably late? Or.." Tanner checked his watch. "We aren't late." The breather tilted his head with a playful smirk. "Bingo! You're right, if it weren't for Lydia you guys would be the last ones here but luckily, she needs more time to zip up her dress." I chuckled at his joke. Which then led to him smiling ever so proudly.

Tanner on the other hand just stuck to his usual mute smile as we entered the dining room. I squeezed Tanner's hand when I felt Eugene's gaze on me. But Tanner didn't squeeze it back, rather he just started rubbing his thumb on my hand. Trying to relax me before we sat down at our spots. Across from Lucas and the breather and next to Terrence and Evelyn. "Sorry Im late!" Lydia happily stated while trotting in. Sitting next to Adam when she reached the table. "Had to look presentable." Adam hummed a smile. "It's not a problem." Lydia smiled back as he whistled to the wait staff. Who brought us our food in individual plates with fancy ass lids. And with a shing~ the lids were taken off the plates in unison. Exposing our dinner. I smiled at the fancy-ness of it all as I lifted my head to see everyone digging in. Talking about business like The Ballons weren't even here... I tried averting my eyes away from Eugene the best I could but my instincts got the better of me and I glanced over. Finding him staring at me. Glaring into my soul as he clenched his fist that was weirdly covered in bandages. He whispered/ mouthed to me "I will save you." A shiver ran up my spine when I saw Airi was sitting next to him but for some weird reason she didn't talk. Not even to Xavier. "Im so sorry, but is there any chance I could use the restroom? I would like to wash my hands before I eat." Adam exhaled another smile. "Of course." He snapped his fingers before a Nior came to escort Airi to the restroom. Tanner and I exchanged a glance before going back to eat. "So.. I'm aware we have some.. guests with us this evening." Adam looked to the Ballons. "It's such a pleasure to be sitting with your family Mr. Ballon. And I do apologize for any miscommunication that happened in the course of the past few days... just know we mean no harm to your family. Weather they have caused harm or not." Eugene lit a fake smile. "It's quite alright. In fact, Thank you for letting us enjoy this beautiful dinner with you all.. it's quite refreshing." He glared back at me but at the same time I felt a hand on mine. "Even though some people may classify as a devilment.." Tanner and Eugene stared at each other with fake smiles on. Waiting for the other to pounce when Tanner perked up. Bouncing his shoulders up with excitement. "Oh! I almost forgot!" Out of the blue Tanner slipped out my engagement ring from his pocket. Flicking it across the table to Eugene. Eugene caught it and looked down to analyze it. My heart was beating fast, faster than ever, as he looked back up to Tanner, Who had a smug look on his face. "I would've pawned it, but I think I can pay more than you did.. so it wouldn't have been worth the hassle."
