|TW: SUICIDE|

|LUNA|

I hung up the phone and ran back to my car. I didn't know what was going on but it couldn't be good. If Vincent was behind this than he plans this to go only one way. Once I reached the parking lot sirens went off, the cars honked at me til I reached my car. Only to notice that It was one of the cars honking at me. The windshield was broken and the lights beamed at me. I got out a quivering scoff before I stepped back from it.my hands shook in front of me as I was still denying this was real. I soon stepped back in to something. A lamp post. I scooted down it to take a second to process. My best friends' dad is hanging on the tree next to my cousins grave, my car is wrecked, Tanner is A-wall, and I don't know where to go next. I started balling on the floor, 'What do I do? Layla hates me, Laurence hates me, Tanner hates me...' my hands shook as I got my head out from their hold. I stood up and for some reason the wind whispered an idea in my head. 'Die, what else do you have to live for? Your life is shit.' I walked quietly on the sidewalk in the city thinking about it. Even though I know people care and love me I couldn't get the thought out of my head. While walking I bumped into Travis, it was night and I guess he was shopping. "Hey Luna." I didn't answer. I didn't feel like faking it anymore. I was tired. I kept walking with my head down as I heard him ask if I was ok in the distance. Once again I didn't answer.

He didn't follow me, didn't even try, but just scoffed. Annoyed I didn't give into his games anymore I looked up to see a tall building across the street. I needed to walk a few more steps to be exactly across, it was now or never. I exhaled as I quickly went into the shop next to me to get a notebook and pen. The person checking me out must've saw how awful I looked and noticed my items. They looked worried as they whispered, "Are you ok mam? I could call someone for you if you want." I shook my head, it took them a couple of seconds before they looked through a pile of papers behind them. "Alright let me just get you one more thing." They slipped a pamphlet between the sheets of the notebook as they gave the receipt. "Have a nice night." I nodded as I walked out. Throwing away the receipt and bag. Then I made my way to the building. Once I walked in, no one batted an eye to me. I took a deep breath before walking to the stairs. Slowly making my ascent to the top of the building. Once I got there the wind hit my face, and blew my hair.I could see the whole city from above here, like I was god or something, the building had a little pond behind it and I decided I would jump from there. I took the pen and book to a nice spot as I sat down to write my notes.

To Tanner:
I'm sorry for everything I have done to you,
I know this was selfish of me to do but I just want you to know I'm in batter place now. I will be in the clouds waiting for you to join me and the baby... even though I barley said it just know I do mean it when I say.. I love you.

To Layla And Laurence:
I'm sorry about your fathers death. He was a good man, even when my father was busy he always made time to be there for me as if I was one of his own. Thank you for being great friends to me, even when no one wanted to. I will never forget the time you guys ditched your dates when mine left at freshman homecoming. I even remember when Layla and I used to be scared of the grinch growing up, and Laurence would always laugh at us. I wish you guys well and just know I did this because I couldn't stop it. If it wasn't for you guys I would've been gone a long time ago. Thank you, and I love you.

I wrote one to my dad as I closed the notebook and stood upon the ledge. I sighed as I took off my jacket and turned around. I said goodbye to the beautiful city I front of me as I stepped back. The fall was hard, every second of it was like a battle. Should I have done this? Yes! No! Yes! No!! Yes...
It's true when people say your life flashes before your eyes when your dying. Almost like a presentation at school or work. The wind became harder to breath as the wind forcefully pushed it down my nostrils. My hair dangled at my sides, flying upward, and trying to get me back to the ledge. But it was too late, I splashed into the water as it warmed up my body. Blood came from somewhere as it filled the water with its thick red color. I closed my eyes for the last time as I surrendered to defeat.
'Is this how it felt to you Sarah? Is this how it hurt mom?' Soon enough I felt my own body shut down. But my hearing stayed for a little after my death as I heard muffled sirens and voices. "There! In the water!" I heard splashes as my hearing went away.

The last thing I remember from that night was a woman, maybe Layla or her mom scream my name in horror. "LUNNAAAA!"

It was the night I was finally going to see Luna, I wanted to know she was ok. Even if she didn't talk I just wanted to be next to her. Soaking up some of the pain if I could. I knocked on the door first, holding onto the flowers I brought to hear no answer. I called out her name to no avale. It took me a second to go to the window in her room and climb in. The room was empty as I went to the other rooms. There were some empty wine bottles along with some half empty. I looked around some more to find no one. I even checked the closets but, nothing. I exhaled as I called up Laurence. We had exchanged numbers earlier on when Luna was still hiding the baby. "Hello?" "Hey, do you know where Luna is by any chance?" "Uh... let me ask Layla." I heard him scream for Layla as he asked. "No, sorry. Why is she not home yet?" "Where did she go?" "She had work today so I would look there first. Maybe she's pulling an all nighter again. I'll come check too." Laurence was like a brother to Luna so I didn't see anything wrong with it. "Alright. Meet you there?" "Yea, I'll ask Lay-." In the distance I heard Layla worried, while she asked Laurence where their dad was. "How should I know? I'm going to look for Luna with Tanner you can co-." "I'm coming!" Laurence hung up the phone right after. I guess Layla was coming with us. I got up and walked back to my car, locking the door on my way out.

Once we met up at the station we asked on of the night receptionist if Luna was in. She shook her head as a kid with red hair and green eyes came in. "Oh Mrs. Youngman?" He asked as we all turned to him. Laurence politely asked where she was as the kid spoke "she went to lunch but never came back. I called her to make sure she was ok and..." he looked scared as he called us back to his office. He typed something up as Luna's file lit up the screen. "What else did she tell you?" I asked, losing my patience. "She told me Vincent Opa drugged her in her car. But by the sound of it he had already left when she woke up." "Oh my god! Is she ok?!" Layla asked, worried for her friends life. "Yea, but she told me she had to do something before she went home for the night. I'm trying to track down her location by the cams." We waited for a few more minutes, watching the different cams she went into to. "First the cemetery..." it was a few more seconds of spread up footage before she left the cemetery looking mortified. "What the hell?" Laurence said, talking to himself. The kid, as I found out his name was August, clicked on the next cam as we saw she walked for about 10 minutes before bumping into Travis. Not answering his questions as he got annoyed, and left her alone. She looked up after a few more seconds and saw something. Something, that made her turn into the store to get a notebook and pen. August's eyes widened as he sped up the footage faster to see she went into the building. He gasped. "We fort go! Now!" He grabbed his coat as he quickly got his keys. The rest of us were confused but followed him non the less. He drove us to the building as he ran up to the top.

"Don't tell me you think she-!" Laurence asked a bit offended "SHE PLANS TO JUMP!" August finished as he rounded the corner to find the exit door on the top. "IVE SEEN THIS MANY TIMES BEFORE, THEY BUY ONLY PAPER AND PEN BEFORE THEY .." he swung open the door to find no one. He looked around to see on the back wall of the roof, a notebook and pen along with her jacket. "OH MY FUCKING GODDD!" Layla screamed out. Laurence, August and I looked over the edge but quickly averted our eyes when we saw her lifeless body deep in the pond. August picked up the book as we all ran back down to the bottom. Layla took a second of forced removal by Laurence before coming with us. Laurence called 911 as we reached the bottom. They were there in 2 minutes after they heard it was one of them. The sirens filled our ears as Layla called her mom. August looked traumatized as Laurence and I refused to acknowledge this was real. The paramedics went into the pond to fetch Luna out as we saw her being strolled away.
