It was Layla and Ein's honey moon so Tanner and I had the week alone. I had one more day at my job before I was on break so... "Bye sweetie." I said in a soft voice while kissing Tanner on the forehead. He was asleep so he didn't say it back. He was used to the night shifts and he was a night owl so of course he woke up later than me. I was still struggling with insomnia and hadn't been sleeping well. Something always felt off but I didn't know what. My memory is foggy, like something went missing, and until I found out what I wasn't going to sleep. And yea I know Tanner was there but what if one night he just leaves? Up in the dust or something. I had shook my head to get the thought out of my brain many times but it always seemed to come back one way or the other. He only asks about me, the usual 'How was your day' leads to a full out conversation about my past. Lately he's been asking about my childhood. But if I ever told him that my dad was a drunk and my mom hung herself, he would look at me with pity and nothing else. It was a better move to just stay quiet for a while.

Once I got in the car I drove to the station. No one besides August knew what happened that night so I was all good there. Of course no one really cared anyways so it was no from working from home. My 'Friends' left me a while back and started hanging out by themselves. I guess I didn't make the cut. I blew the hair out of my face when I walked to my office. But as I entered I saw a thumb drive on my desk. I furrowed my brows. 'Is this from Tanner or something?' I checked my phone, it was only 7:30 so it was too early for him to be awake. I put my stuff down and plugged in the drive. It would take a minute, perfect timing for coffee. I got back up and went to the kitchen of the station. While I waited for the coffee I overheard my male superiors talking. "He looks like an elf, are you sure they're the same person Travis?" "Positive. He's the murderer we've been looking for." I eased dropped, it sounded like Travis was trying to cram Tanner again. "Oh Cmon Travis, didn't you say he was dating Luna? She isn't the type to hide fugitives. Hell she would've taken him in already." I sighed, he was talking about Tanner. "Yea but just look at him, you can't tell me he's not hiding something." "Why don't you just mind your business Travis? And admit you're wrong?" I said in an annoyed tone. "You heard us?" Another colleague asked I nodded, "yea, and I would appreciate if you guys didn't talk about my boyfriend like he's anything else but a normal person." The others apologized while Travis glared me up and down. I didn't want to know what dirty thoughts flew through his head so I grabbed and put a lid on it. I didn't want it to spill on my way to my desk.

I could feel Travis's cold and examining glare while I walked back to my office. I didn't know why he wanted Tanner gone so badly. Maybe because he thinks I'll go to him or something? I shrugged and uploaded the drive. There were 3 files on it that read
'I. love. you.' It wasn't weird since it was from Tanner so I just grabbed it out of the computer and put it in my purse to look at later.

~Time Skip~

It was 9:30pm and my time to go home. I grabbed my purse and phone as I left for the door. In the middle of my trip to the car Tanner called. "Hello?" "Hey Im going to pick up food for us, whatcha want?" I scoffed a soft laugh, "Um..pizza?" "Cheese or pep?" "You choose." He sighed before saying fine.
He never got something for us before asking me, which was refreshing. I got in the car and drove the 10 minutes home. Surprisingly Tanner wasn't home yet. Which was perfect, now I could check the drive.
I plugged it in my computer and looked at the I part first. My eyes widened as I saw a man...he looked familiar. Well built, blue eyes, blonde hair, and looked Tall. I went to the next file, which was another picture of him. But this time he was over Tanner and I while we slept. Then in the corner of the screen I saw a woman. "What the Fuck?" I asked myself. Then I went to the next and final file. This one was a video. I pressed play and it was him showing off his body in the mirror. I heard a woman in the background, moaning out "Tanner! Fuck!"
The video continued with her moans for a second before I paused it and realized.

Tanner was cheating on me...

I kept it on pause as Tanner came in. "Hey Im back!" He said in happy tone. He placed down the pizza on the table before coming over to me at the computer, standing in shock. His warm hands wrapped around me as he kissed my cheek. "I missed you today, can't you ask for less hours?" It took him a second to realize I was in shock and anger. "Hey what's wro-?" In that moment I pushed him off and slapped him. "You're fucking disgusting." My face soaked up with puffy eyes and my mascara running down my face in tear tracks. "What?" "You heard me." I shrugged past him "I just hope you didn't bring that slut here." He grabbed my forearm, "I have no idea what your talking about. I should be the one mad at you." I rolled my eyes and scoffed an angered laugh, "What do you mean?! You cheated On. Me." He pulled out his phone, "Explain this then." He played it and it was a video of a girl in the mirror, in the same manner as the guy in my video. In Tanners video however, the man groaned my name in the background. "Luna!! Shit! You're so fucking TIGHTT." My heart dropped, I don't remember cheating on Tanner. My breathing slowed down, Tanner let go of my arm and looked down at me. "I-I-.." "I was on my way home when I got that little text. So tell me how that happened." He came to my ear and asked in a stern tone, "Was it any better?"

I whipped back around. "I swear I never cheated on you. I swear." He rolled his eyes and looked back down at his phone to read a text message. Then looked at me. "How did you find out?" I led him to my computer, "oh, so you got a video too?" I nodded, "I was barley 3 seconds in before I heard it." I crossed my arms and glared at him. He didn't notice and played the rest of the video, "It's the same bathroom." "Well no duh." I said annoyed at this point. I just wanted him to leave. I went to get up and pick his things when he yanked me back to the desk. Pausing the video once again. He held me firm with his hands on my shoulders "Don't you see I'm trying to fix this relationship?! I never had sex with anyone but you! Please believe me." I sighed and stayed when he played the video. The girl continued to moan his name as the man opened the door. Which led to him flashing us his dick. We ignored it and kept watching. Then he showed us the bed, which had the woman on it with a vibrator and a laptop with Tanners picture on it. I blushed in embossment. Tanner smirked at me "See?" I rolled my eyes "yea. How convenient." "Oh Cmon don't be like that." "It's hard when I think about your dick being in another girl Tanner."

We went back to watching the video, which led to the guy sitting down at a desk with my picture on display. Tanner stopped the video when the guy started to jerk off. I asked in a mocking tone "See?"
He exhaled and was about to talk when we heard a giggle from behind us. Then...we saw 2 people in masks. The woman's was more feminine with blue lipstick while the mans was plain white. "Shit.." Tanner said. I readied my lipstick knife as Tanner got a pocket knife he had. "We were in the middle of readying them when, out of no where, darts flew to our necks. We soon collapsed....
