SIDE STORY PT. EIGHTEEN

|LUNA|

~Thanksgiving   7:30 pm~

Tanner was finally ready to face his family after years of not seeing them. We were in fancy clothes and were driving to His parents house for thanksgiving. Layla was waiting for me there as Ein had introduced her a long time ago. I was kinda nervous but so was Tanner. "Are you excited?" I asked. "Yea, I mean I'm nervous but I'm happy to be seeing them." He shrugged as he wore his familiar smile. I patted his shoulder as he pulled into a neighborhood. He looked for the house as he parked next to it. It was a big and fancy house. Definitely would give you mafia vibes. He came next to me and put his arm around me. "Oh! I forgot to tell you..I have a big family." He smiled as I nervously chuckled and held his hand that was around my shoulders. "How big?" I asked as we walked to the porch. "Mmmm..enough to fit a whole room if we wanted to." Another nervous laugh left my mouth as we stood in front of the doorbell. "Sounds nice.." He smiled as he knelt down to my level. "You don't have anything to worry about. They'll accept you just the way you are. I promise." I sighed with a smile as I hugged him one last time before he rang the doorbell. We held hands while we waited. We heard muffled talking before a woman answered the door. She looked shocked and started crying happy tears. She ran up to Tanner and hugged him "I missed you so much! Oh my god Tanner!" Once she finished she looked at me and gasped with a smile. "You have a girl with you too?!" She hugged me as I introduced myself, she let go of the hug and caressed the side of my face before she let us in. I could tell Tanner was relieved that his mom liked me. He had a smile that was genuine now. He held my hand as we walked in. His mom yelled out to the family "Tanner is back!" They all looked at us as they cheered. Some of them came up to us and started feeling my hair. "Oh my god she's precious!" "Her hair is smooth!" "She will make a good wife!" I thanked them for the compliments and Tanner laughed but thankfully his mom helped me out by swatting them away. "Ok! Ok! Let her breath!" I giggled as I thanked her for the help then went back to holding onto Tanners arm while we walked over to Layla and Ein who were in the kitchen. I shook Ein's hand as I introduced myself to him. He had black hair with blue eyes that matched with his black suit.

We chatted for a minute before a very busty woman came over to us. "Cuz?!!" Tanner turned around and waved "hey Teresa." She came over to him and hugged his arm "OH my God! I missed you!" He let out a nervous laugh as he patted her back before she went back to sit on the counter next him, hugging his arm in between her legs and squeezing his arm muscles. "Damnnn Tanner, have you been working out for me?" She giggled as he let out another nervous sound. Layla and Ein gave me a look as I gave them a look back. I couldn't say anything, that is his cousin. Layla took my hand. "We'll let you guys catch up, we're gonna get a drink from outside." They nodded as they talked. We went to the backyard which was decorated with outside party furniture. 'So he wasn't lying about the big family' I thought as I smiled at the people sitting at the tables. We walked to the drinks and Layla poured me some. "Thanks." We did a little cheers as we drank our drinks or lemonade. "I'm not the only one who thought that was weird right?" Layla asked I shrugged. "Maybe that's just how they grew up." "Ok but like..she was in a very small dress and hugging Tanners arm in between it." I shrugged as a sigh left my lips "I don't know. I can't say anything anyway so I'm just going to stay quiet." "Ok." We finished our drinks as we walked back in. She was off the counter and talking normally, I guess Ein told a joke because the next moment she was laughing and leaning on Tanner. I exhaled through my nose to clam down as we walked back. Layla holding my hand.

"Hey! We're back." Layla said as we stood next to them. Teresa gave me a glare as she lead Tanner away. "Hey cuz, I need to talk to you alone." He went as Ein spoke in a whisper to me and Layla. "That was weird." Layla agreed, "yea.." "I'm sorry you had to see that Luna. I don't know why she's acting like that." I blew the hair out of my face. "It's fine. I mean they're cousins right." He shook his head in disbelief "yea we are, but that's more reason not to act like that." I gave a so/so look before Ein and Layla led me back outside to talk there at an empty table. And that's when I heard yelling come from the window upstairs.

|TANNER|

Teresa led me to a room. "What do you want to talk about?" I asked, she sighed as she locked the door. "Sit down." I was confused but I did as she asked. I sat down on the couch as she came up behind me and rubbed my shoulders. "Listen..I don't like your girlfriend." I went to talk when she covered my mouth. "Uhuh, let me talk." I exhaled through my nose while she finished her sentence with her head next to my ear. "I don't like your girlfriend because..she's too plain." She kissed my cheek and I started getting the bad signals again. If I called her out for what she was doing then she could just say we were cousins and I was wrong to thinking that. I was stuck in a corner. Teresa walked around the couch and knelt down infront of me. Her hands were on my knees as she spoke again. "And I bet she doesn't do this for you." She reached for my belt and started undoing it. I grabbed her hand away and got up. "What are you doing?!" I said in a hushed yell. "Fixing your bel-." "Oh don't pull that crap on me. Look I'm happy in my relationship and I love that woman that is downstairs." She rolled her eyes and blew a raspberry. "Oh please! She's ugly as hell! Just let me give you this one blow job! It's not that big of a deal!" I was getting angry at this point "We Are Cousins!" "That doesn't matter! I won't tell if you won't!" I rolled my eyes "Stop! Ok?! Stop!" I left with a slam of the door.

I covered my mouth as I heard Teresa talk bad about me, trying to seduce Tanner. Thankfully only our table could hear it though. It spared me of the embarrassment. Layla and Ein were in shock as they looked over to me with my eyes about to cry. I sucked in the tears as they came over to comfort me. I took a deep breath before Ein asked "if you want I can take you guys home." Layla nodded and got me up to the door. In the middle of our journey, Tanner came around the corner and saw I was about to cry. "What's wrong? What hap-." Ein groaned "just leave her alone for a while man." Tanner was defensive "where are you guys going?!" "I'm driving them home!" Ein said not looking back at him as he slammed the front door closed.

~Time Skip    9:30 pm~

When I got home I told Layla to enjoy her time with Ein as I went to my door. "Are you sure?" I nodded "yea. He's a great guy. I'm proud of you." I said with a soft smile. She smiled wide and gave me one last hug before she got back in the car. I waved bye to them and unlocked the door. 'Finally I could get out of this dress.' I closed the door and went to my room to get some clothes. Only a shirt and panties would do, I didn't feel like wearing a bra. I went to the bathroom and showered, thinking about how Tanner could've cheated on me today. I knew I didn't have any right to be mad, he did say no after all, but I couldn't get the thought of him saying yes slip. "Ugh, just don't think about it." I said to myself while I dried myself off with the towel. The steam from the shower flew in the air while I changed into my shirt and panties. I opened the door and walked to the kitchen to grab wine and when I walked back to the living room I was greeted with Tanner behind me while I leaned back on The couch. He grabbed the bottle away. "Is your response to something bad happening always to drink?" I rolled my eyes. "Please leave." He shook his head and came over to me. "Why are you mad?" I scoffed "oh I don't know. Maybe because a girl was flirting with you all night and offered to suck your dick when you guys were alone." I was livid when he scooted closer "but I said no right?" "Yea." "Then what's the big issue?" He grabbed my hands "look I love you and only you so please don't be mad at me anymore." I exhaled one more time to let out my anger before hugging him. "Ok. Fine." I came out of the hug. "Can I have the wine now?"  He laughed "ohoho is that all you wanted?" I nodded "I'm thirsty." I teased as I grabbed the bottle and bit the top off. Spitting it back to his face he laughed "Ok! Now you get it!" He grabbed the bottle and set it down before tackling me. He tickled me as I laughed uncontrollably. "Tanner! Stop!" "You like that huh?" He asked while he kept tickling me. I flipped him over and started tickling him instead. He laughed as a few minutes later we finished. I laid on his chest and caught our breath. "That was fun." I admitted. He smiled.

"Yea." He hugged me close and whispered "I love you." In a sweet tone. "I love you too..Tanner."
