I woke to my phone ringing. "Hello?" My voice was sleepy, I yawned as the person in the other side responded "Aw don't tell me you just woke up Luna."
"Tanner? Where are you?" I got up from the bed and started looking around the house "You won't find me there. So don't bother trying to look. I'm finishing up some work here at my lab. But I have to say...you look awfully stunning this evening." I froze in the hall "What do you mean by that?" " I mean, you're still wearing the clothes from last night." I looked down and noticed he was right. "Surely you didn't think I would change you out of your clothes too after all I've done for you." "All you've done for me?" "Mhm, I gave you the file, and saved you from Travis. Remember?" "Travis, where is he? What did you do?" "You can rest assured I didn't harm Travis. I left after our..." he cleared his throat "altercation."

"Do you really expect me to believe that you left right after?" "Yes, you can trust me Luna. I'm not a liar."
"So what now?" "Now you just sit back and watch this unfold. Adam has a game in plan." "What's the game?" "I'll leave that up to time." He hung up right after that. I could smell the dried blood from my head. I went to a mirror and checked it out. It wasn't bad, I just needed to wash it off with water. I grabbed some lounge wear, nothing fancy just a nice white knit sweater and some shorts. When I finished my shower you could barley tell that I hurt my head.
I went outside to water the plants in my backyard when a knock came on the fence gate. I opened the gate to find Travis. "Hey..." "hey Luna." He came win and started talking "look, I know what happened between us was weird and kind of wrong since I'm your boss but-. I do miss you." He smiled and I tried not to smack him. But it was a good thing he was alive and well. That just tells me that Tanner isn't a liar after all.

"It's all good, but I'm busy so could you.." I was one in flip flops so I couldn't really run if he tried attacking me again. "Oh sure, sorry again." I told him it was fine as he left through the gate. I finished watering the plants earlier than I thought. Once I got back inside I decided to watch a movie. I looked through Netflix but couldn't find any good ones. So I whipped out the old DVD's. I looked til I found one. Coraline. It's one of my favorites. I put it in and got settled down onto the couch. I cuddled up with a warm blanket and laid down. I was at the part where Coarline met the other mother for the first time when I heard a noise. It was late so I got up and checked the windows. They were all locked but one. The cold wind hit me like a bullet in the dark.

I walked to the window, closed it and locked it. When I left the room I went to my computer to check the cameras. No one. I rolled the chair back but when I looked to the side I saw a bald man staring down at me. He spoke in Russian before punching my lights out cold. My ears rang as the room became more blurry. He picked me up and slung me over his shoulder. His weak scent barley grazed my nose before it went black.

When I regained consciousness I was in a room tied to a chair. However my clothes were tossed to the side. Shredded. I panicked and checked if I had clothes. I was in a more fancy emerald silk tank top with lace on top and shorts to match. "We have her lined up for A meeting tonight withhhh." He checked his list as I quietly started cutting the ropes with my ring. Sure it looked normal on the outside but the little pearl on top was just a cap for a knife.
