When I woke up, I still felt the roughness of my breath. My throat hurt like hell. 'Hopefully there isn't a bruise.' I got up and carefully walked to the bathroom to check my neck out. When I got there I saw only a bruise. I stepped back with a gasp. My lip started quivering, I couldn't comprehend what was on my neck. I ran out of the bathroom and grabbed jeans and a nude turtle neck. When I put it on though, I didn't like how it looked with the jeans. That's when I remembered I had packed a skirt. That with some stockings would look cute. Usually I didn't go all out with my clothes but anything to hide this bruise and not make it looked forced would do

I liked how it looked on me so I didn't bother changing a 3rd time. The more important matter was finding somewhere else to stay for the night. That's when it came to me. My cousin wouldn't be in town for another month, she had just gotten married and was in her honeymoon. Maybe I could stay there. She lived in a nice townhouse. It was a little out of date but I didn't see any problem with it. I called her up and told her my situation. She sounded worried and agreed to let me stay there for time she was at her honeymoon. I thanked her and grabbed my things. Once I was done I put on heeled boots and went to check out. "Had a late night huh?" The clerk asked "what do you mean?" I said trying to be friendly. "I heard some commotion come from your room and a man walked out after so... how was it?"

I mentally face palmed. 'That's gross.' "No that wasn't me, I didn't have anyone over." He looked at me weird before I left for my car. Once I got in I drove to her house. It was in the city. The lights were beautiful at night and in the early morning. I looked in aw since it was only 7:00 A.M. when I got there I used the key she told me was under the mat and rolled my luggage in. I walked up the curved stairs and went to the guest room to the right. I was nice, big open window greeting you as you walked in the room. The bed was big too. The walls were a dark drown wall paper with the pillars black. My cousins and I always loved the light and dark academia style. I'm more on the light side while this cousin liked the darker. The house smelled like coffee which I loved. Black coffee was my favorite.

It gives you more energy with out the sugary taste. I had time to kill so I decided to go shopping. The mall was in walking distance so why take my car? Besides I liked walking sometimes. It lets me catch up with my thoughts. I got on my coat and left, making sure to take the key. It was a nice day. Not too sunny but not gloomy. Once I got to the mall I went to my favorite stores and was able to find some jeans and some new sweaters. When I finished shopping I stopped but the food court and got a quick coffee. After I left with the coffee and that's when I met up with an old friend. Clint. I saw him getting to his car "Clint!" I waved and he looked for me, when he saw me he waved and came over to chat a bit. "Hey Luna, how are you?" "I'm good, ya know just doing the usual." I guess I didn't cover up well enough since he asked me what was on my neck. "Oh it's nothing, I just fell." "You fell...on your neck?..." I stood there awkwardly because I didn't know what to do. I had just embarrassed myself.
