After I finished my tree I put it on the cake with the others. Luna looked up for a second to see them, even blushing at mine. The others got confused on why she blushed but she just played it off as the temperature was too high. When they accepted the answer, they put down the temperature. Little did they know that just made her colder. We gathered to dust the powdered sugar on the cake. Luna wanted Airi to do it so she could watch. And there I was, watching Luna as her eyes lit up with life. I don't know why, but she loved powdered sugar. I couldn't really enjoy the moment though, Eugene still hadn't come home, and it was late. Almost 8. "Hey Luna, when did Eugene say he was gonna be back?" Terrence asked. She looked at a clock. "I don't know.. I thought he said earlier but I guess the meeting is going over." Terrence got a weird look on his face when she said that. Concerned. When the cake was finished, we all ate a slice. It was rich. Airi really knew what she was doing. We joked around and told stories, til it was 9:45. It was late and Luna was tired. The others saw that and decided to start leaving. "Thanks for having us Luna." "No problem." Luna got up and grabbed containers. We stopped when they saw her putting some cake in them. "Here, at least take some home. I can't eat this all by myself ya know." They thanked her and took their containers. I was getting my coat on when I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Stay back, I need to talk to you." The others already left so I just sat down. Luna sighed and started picking up. "I forgot to ask you earlier but, what was that at the club?"She turned to the sink to wash dishes. "The beer."

I sat up and walked over to her. She explained further. "I thought you were sober.. And don't take this the wrong way, but I know how addictions work." She turned off the sink and gave her full attention to me. "You shouldn't be drinking. Yo-." "Aw, that's cute." I tilted my head a little, looking at a confused Luna. "You still care.." she sighed at my antics and  stepped closer to show her authority. "Yes, I do. That's why I stopped you that night. And I know some people have a better control of it but I can't see you binge drink again-." She got closer almost unknowingly. "You have too much to look forward to, to throw away your life, all for a beer." If I bent down a little, She would've been kissing distance when she stopped walking. "So please.. don't drink.."

I was waiting for a response, not getting one. I sighed and turned around to pace. The worry was stressing me out. I rubbed my face when he finally accepted my deal. Only to make one of his own. "Fine." My eyes lit up "really?!" He nodded and I went to him with excitement. Hugging him in the process. He hugged me back. "But.. if I give up drinking, I'm gonna need you to stop being intimate with Eugene." I backed up a little while he still held me by my waist. "Oh don't give me that look. It's not like you would risk it anyway.. you don't know where my cameras are after all." "He's my boyfriend." "And?" Was he being serious? "How long has it been since you saw him?" ... He hummed an amused and cocky laugh. "See, you're already getting the hang of it Moonshine." I grabbed his hands on my waist and gently started taking them off. "Ok, fine. But Let me at least call him." Once his hands were off me I grabbed the phone. It rang for a long time. No answer. I called again. No answer. I put the phone down and put my head in my hands to blow off some steam. When my hands slid out of my face I put them in my hair and turned around while putting my hair up. "Ok! New plan." Tanner got excited for god knows what.

But I just started cleaning up the ingredients. Tanner got disappointed out of no where but still helped me clean. Now it was 10:30. I was putting something away in the cabinet when Tanner was drying the dishes. "Hey uh..." he turned off the water. "You didn't.. hurt Eugene.. right?" He thought for a second. "No, I would've remembered." Relief fell over me. "Maybe I should call him again." I reached for the phone. Tanner smacked my hand. "What was that for?" "Why would you call him again? If he didn't answer you he's either busy or doesn't want to talk. Just wait til he calls you back." "That's a bit petty." I leaned back in the counter and teased. "You just don't want me to talk to him huh?" "Nope." He dried the dishes. "Maybe he's surprising you." "Yea.. maybe." I looked out the Window as he looked up. "What? Does he not do stuff like that?" I shook my head. "He's not a big fan on surprising me. But it's fine, I really don't mind." "Really?" I put my attention back on him. He was walking over to me with a blank expression. It kinda creeped me out. "Yea, I'm fine living a-." He grabbed under my boobs and lifted me to the counter in a swift motion. "-Hey!"
