He fell asleep right away. Like a puppy after a long days work. I felt even more guilty than ever before. Soon that guilt led to Anxiety. I was anxious that someone would walk in and see I was cuddling with a man that had a family. Was I being a home wrecker? Tanner had bags under his eyes. I wonder if he was sleeping well. Sooner or later, I still couldn't sleep. 'Maybe if I take a small stroll, I'll be tired enough to sleep.' All I needed to do was get out of Tanners hold without him waking up. Luckily, he was too tired to wake up so it was pretty easy to just slip out. It was late, there wouldn't be any lights on. I needed a light source, and I didn't have my phone. If I did have my phone though.. I would call Layla and Laurence. I missed them a lot. 'You know what? I'm gonna find my phone. It should be in Tanners room. If I'm silent I should be able to get it. Then I could finally leave and forget about all this shit.' I got up and started walking. Thankfully, a while back Lydia gave me a a lantern. Just in case. It made me ask what century this was. To which she just replied that it was an old house. So no wonder it was cold too.

I made it downstairs to his room. It was open and someone was talking. Laughing even. "No dude, he's cute but not my type." There was a pause. "Because he's a murderer! What am I supposed to do with that? And yea, he's loaded. What else do you think I'm staying with him for? If I wanted love I would've actually gotten in a relationship." She groaned. "Ughh, this bump is so annoying!! You know what, he's not here so I'm just gonna take it off." My eyes widened as I heard drawers open and some glass ringing together. The phone was now on speaker. "I can't believe you're actually doing that. Isn't it illegal?" Val's friend commented. "No, of course not." "Then what are you gonna do when the baby's due?" "I'll either run away or.." she thought. She should've been greatful, who wants a snotty nosed brat? Aha! Finally!" I heard a weird noise and Val sighed in relief. I couldn't believe she just said that. It almost hit my mind like a train but I had to see what that sound was. When I peeked over the doorframe I saw Val laying on the bed. With no bump... her stomach was completely flat..

I kept my eyes out to find my phone on the dresser next to the door. Thankfully Val was too busy to see me at the door. All I needed was to reach over and grab it. Once it was in my hand I went back to the hallway and started walking away. But something stopped me. 'Tanner won't believe me without proof..' I inhaled deep before going back to the door and recording for a minute. Enough to make it look real and not photoshopped. Val kept talking about how dumb Tanner was and I knew Tanner would believe me now. After I was done I scurried away. Right back to my room. I needed to call Layla but I suppose that could wait til tomorrow. But now, I felt less guilt. Is it bad I feel kinda relieved that she isn't pregnant? It even brought me to tears at my relief. I then felt knocking on my back. It was Lydia. Here for our nightly cuddle. I beamed with joy, I needed to talk to someone about this so why not Lydia? Lydia sat up in shock. "How do you know?" I opened my phone and started looking for the video. "How'd you get your phone back?" "I snuck into Tanners room where I saw.. this!" I showed her the video of Val on the bed and her face lit up in a revenge type smirk. She chuckled.
