I hugged Luna close and protected her from the fall we were about to go off. She was screaming at me, begging me to bend the laws of reality to stop the wheel. If I could..I would. We heard a loud scratch from the metal..then we fell. It was peaceful at first, floating in mid air. No care in the world. Until we landed on our first bumps. The cart got bent out of shape pretty quick. Luna had passed out from fear, and I was alone again. I cried and screamed into her hair. It was all beginning to look too familiar. I could imagine Ethan watching us from the ground, but I wonder, would he be teasing us or comforting us?  Maybe a bit of both. For all we know, he could've blamed us for his death. 'I'm sorry Ethan.' In the middle of thinking I was interrupted by a stinging pain. I gasped a groan and looked down. I was impaled by a rusty pipe. I lifted Luna a little to make sure she was ok. Thankfully she was. Only a few bruises and marks but overall-.

My eyes widened, I looked down and for a brief second saw Ethan. With his neck snapped in half. I blinked it away and saw Luna was alright. He neck was intact..however..her arm was...bent. I grabbed it for that it wouldn't take further damage. My nostrils were on fire when we hit the water. I gently grabbed Luna and swam up to the surface. I held her head above water and swam to the shore. I slammed her down and checked if she was breathing. Sirens rang in the back, if they caught me then I would be arrested for sure. I quickly gave her CPR until she started breathing. She coughed up the water, which reminded me that I had been cut myself. "Oh..fuck." I got up and hobbled over to a nearby bush. I watched as people found her near the shore. They put a plank to keep her arm straight and carried her away. It all happened really fast, I felt a hand on my Shoulder  and I whipped around to see Dimitri. "You seem hurt. What's the problem? She survived, no?"

I exhaled and showed him I was cut, "her arm broke, and the crack... it sounded like Ethan.." he helped me up and over to the others "Look on the bright side. Now you won't have to worry about Adam wanting his debt back." I chuckled "I suppose your right." We met in the woods and the Niors brought over a med kit, they patched me up and soon enough Adam came in with Lydia on his arm. "Good job everyone. I think we all learned something tonight."
We looked at him confused "You need to up your game. Luna survived." He looked down at me, "although..one of you might actually like that news. Won't you Tanner?" I put a smug smile on and nodded "Of course, that just means I won our little wager." He scoffed a laugh "Yea it does," he snapped his fingers and another Nior brought him a cigarette.  He motioned to me "You're lucky I'm not a sore loser Mr. Grayton."

After a few minutes we all went our separate ways. Dimitri went to go kidnap another girl, The Niors and Adam went back to their torture feeds, Luxas went back to helping Adam and I went home. I was going to wait off on talking to Luna, she would need time to cool off anyways.

I was in a dark room with no light. I started walking for what seemed like ages until I found a street lamp. I touched it and the outside world started to form around me. I walked along the path, I was in a forest. The flowers were beautiful, hell even welcoming. I walked and walked til I was awake.

I woke up with blurry vision and my body felt numb. I looked around to see I was in the hospital. I tried sitting up but my arm was tied to a board on the side of the bed; "what the hell?" I called for a doctor, and when one came in she told me that I had broken my arm. I had to call someone to take me home, I didn't want to call Tanner. For One: he's s the one who dragged me into this, and Two: I didn't know his number. I settled on calling one of my friends from work. Ashley. The doctor wrote down her number and made a call. They were getting me ready to leave when a police officer came in. "Hello Mrs. Youngman, I'm sorry for the current circumstances, but I need to ask you a few questions." The nurse budged in "Officer, I don't think right now is the right time for that. The patient is hurt very badly and she just wants to go home." "I'm sorry I wasn't talking to you. Now-." "I'm sorry, I work here and I know what's best for the patient. Your questions are far from that." He groaned "Fine, I'll call you later."

I thanked the nurse as she helped me up. I could walk but just in case I fell, she walked me there. I thanked her one last time before hopping in the car with Ashley.

~2 weeks later~

I was on a call with the police department, telling them my story, but they didn't believe me. They told me to stop blaming it on others. I hung up the phone, and with the anger I was in I didn't notice how I accidentally used too much force. Even though more broken left arm was in a sling, i could still hurt it if my right arm moved the wrong way. I groaned in pain and leaned my body on the table. My doctor had prescribed me pain killers, that were in my room. I leaned on the wall down the hallway. I opened the door and saw they were on my drawer. I opened a bottle of water and drank the pills. They took affect pretty quick. I went back into the hall and walked down to the couch. I was going to work on my laptop. Until a tall man turned the corner. It was Tanner with his syringe. My eyes widened "Peek-A-Boo!" He grabbed my shirt and pulled me close. Hissssss...

I woke up in a dark room, the basement of the lodge. My arm was still in the sling while the other one was in chains. "Tanner...please.." I wiggled the chain to tell Tanner I was awake. He opened the door and came down. "Good morning moonshine!" "Please don't call me that." He grabbed my chin forcefully "I can call you whatever I want. Got it?" "Get The. Fuckkkk. Away from me." He tossed my head to the side. "You know, I knew you were going to be a little brat. So..." he turned on the lights to show a hug ass basement with what looked like torture devices. "Oh so you're going to torture me?" I glared at him. He laughed "take a closer look." I took another glance to see that they were sex devices. "Tanner, No! My arm is BROKEN." "You've had enough time to heal." "2 Weeks!.." I kept talking as he unhooked me from the wall. "This is all too scary for me Tanner! I don't know you that well! And, And-!" "Be honest..." he sighed and held me up close to him. "Besides from the whole counter thing..have you never..had sex before?"
