After the dance Tanner excused himself to pick up a call. Then he told me he had to go do something, I understood and told him bye. The party lasted for another hour or so. I hung out with Layla and Laurence most of the night, recalling memories, playing card games, etc. Anthony kept staring at me from the corner. Vanny had left because she felt uncomfortable. After the party I walked to vallet to pick up my keys. He could've gotten my car but I wanted to enjoy the walk in the garden area before driving away. I asked him my keys, then went to the garden area. I sat on the marble bench and looked over the edge. I felt a little wind blow on me from something falling, when I looked I saw a beautiful blue rose. I gently picked it up, careful not to poke myself with the thorns. I looked at it for a minute before throwing it off the ledge. I wanted to see how it would float. I saw it struggle for a minute then it gently glided down. "Careful, you won't float if you fall." I stepped back to see who it was "Anthony?"

He nodded "what do you want Jack ass?" "Seems like you and that guy are really close huh?" "That's none of your business." "I'll take that as a yes." He came closer and sat down on the bench next to me.
"Are you 2 dating?" "No, we're not. We're just friends." He chuckled "friends?" "Yea." "Luna, friends don't kiss." I rolled my eyes. "That only happened..3 times. Besides that we're friends."
"Why don't you just go for it?" It went silent for a second. The wind gently blew my hair as it whistles in my ear "what do you mean?" "You know for such a smart girl..you can be really stupid at times."

I was going to defend myself but he covered my mouth "ahaha, don't-. Just listen."I put my hand down and let him talk, his hand was on my shoulder with his other one getting off my mouth to hold my hand. "He looks at you..." "well no duh, you have to loo-." "No, the way he looks at you makes it... different." He took his hand off my shoulder to the side of my face "You're a beautiful girl Luna. You know how he looks at you isn't normal." He moved his hand to my chin and gently rubbed my bottom lip with his thumb. "So why don't you just accept it?.." he leaned in a little closer "you were always the best kisser.." his voice was like ASMR. "So please let me try it...one last time..." it was like my brain was on auto pilot, I didn't realize it was Anthony til it was the last second. Right before we kissed I pushed away. "Anthony!" "What? Is there a bee?" "No its, I can't be doing this right now." I went to walk away but he grabbed my arm "Luna." He turned me around and gave me hug. "Im sorry..I didn't want to lose you. I felt like I was worthless to you...so...I-I gave you a reason to leave." I slowly put my arms around him and patted his back, he begged my forgiveness. "Shh..it's ok. Stop begging, you have Vanny don't you?" "No..she left me, tonight."

It was quiet for another moment "I'm sorry to hear that.." "it's fine, I just want to be held. Ya know? I haven't really felt like this with someone in a while." "Not even Vanny?" "No.. that was mostly sexual."
"Oh.." we stayed there for a minute, his hug got tighter I groaned to the lack of oxygen. "Anthony.. you're.." "oh sorry." He let me go and I leaned on his shoulder for balance while catching my breath. I get winded very easily, but I'm probably more sensitive today since I only ate a little. "Here let me help you to your car." I nodded and he helped me walk. When we got to the car I felt better. "Thanks Anthony." "No problem, text me when you get home." I nodded.

~35 Minutes Later~

I got home but I had headache. I was hungry as hell. I went to the door but then I heard shoes clack behind me. I turned to find Tanner. "Jesus! Again Tanner?! God." I was startled, I didn't know if the kidnapper came back to finish me off or even Vincent Opa, the blue blood killer. He chuckled "hey there again. I missed you." He said in a cheery mood. "Do you want to talk or something? Watch a movie?" "No i was thinking... maybe tomorrow we could go out on the town? Take the streetcars in the city and maybe pick up some food." I smiled "yea that sounds nice. What time?" "7:30 pm?" I nodded "yea. Let's do it." I got a notification in the middle of my sentence, I pulled out my phone and saw it was a text message from Anthony.
