I was whistling while Luna was on my back playing with my hair. I had never given her a piggy back ride so why not now? I liked how she played with my hair. It wasn't irritating like when others did it, but more of a massage of some sorts. "What do you wanna do tomorrow?" Luna asked, I shrugged. "Do you wanna go get snacks from the gas station in the morning and then drive to the mountain and watch a movie?" "Yea! That's sounds like fun, but won't the others get ... suspicious?" I chuckled a little. "What is it with you and the word suspicious?" "Im just saying that I just broke off an engagement. And if I start dating you too early they'll think I cheated." I sighed and plopped her down to the ground. We started walking. "So what if you cheated? He did it first so just think of it as compensation." "That'll make me seem like a shitty person Tanner." ...  "Look, all Im asking is that we wait off on making it official." She grabbed my hand. "And after that, we can run away. Just you and me. We can even come back to visit from time to time and-." I stopped her and whipped her around. I've always wanted to hear that so when I did I had no choice than to kiss her. She leaned into it and I held her waist and hair. When we split She got off her tip toes and smiled while looking the other way. "What was that for?" I smiled back. "I'll wait.. Just, let me take you home afterwards." She nodded and gave me a final hug before we walked back to the house.

We waved bye when I dropped her off in her room, but when I got to mine I couldn't sleep. Something in my mind nagged at me. Eugene. 'How was I gonna do this? I'm gonna call Adam tomorrow, but I don't actually have a plan...' I thought more and more til I decided a cigarette would help. I grabbed the box and walked outside to the porch. There on, I lit the cigarette and started smoking. It helped clear my mind so a few minutes later I found out a solution. I smiled and kept on with my smoking. Til I hear the door open. "Couldn't sleep huh?" Terrence asked. I shook my head while he sighed and took out a cigarette of his own. "You won't tell the others I smoke right?" He asked in a joking tone. "Of course not." He chuckled at my response and started joining me. Puffing out the smoke into the night sky. It was silent til his phone rang. He checked then scoffed. "I can't believe it. Look who's calling me." He showed me the phone. Eugene. I rolled my eyes. "Are you gonna answer?" "No..." he hung up. "He's dead to me." I laughed under my breath. "Yea... It was a bad situation." Terrence sighed again. "I know... heh, I'm just wondering what you're gonna do." I looked at him then back at the sky. "What do you mean?" "I mean.. i wonder what you're gonna do since he held a gun so close to Luna. Just think about it.. one second later and he could've committed murder and suicide all in one shot." I exhaled the smoke.

"Hypothetically, ...would you be mad or get in the way if I did something?" He shook his head with a smile. "No.. just do me a favor and make it entertaining." We laughed together as we finished our buds.

Mornings suck. Especially when you wake up too early to function. But there I was, 6:30, and no sleep in sight. I tried everything. Changing positions, turning the fan on, turning the fan off, counting sheep, which never works, cuddling a pillow, and finally sleeping on the foot of the bed instead but, Nothing. So as I was living in my defeat I decided to go on another walk. Alone. Sure it was early and I might get kidnapped but I had nothing else to do. Hell even getting dressed made the time go by faster. In a matter of minutes I was on the trail. Walking in a coat with jeans and a black shirt on. As I walked more and more I started hearing weird noises. My thoughts stopped while I looked around to find where the sound was coming from. It was loud, and when I got closer I could tell it was moaning and groaning. It continued at a lower level until I got a bush. Where the sound was at the height of its frequency. It sounded like animals dying so I was a little worried I would find dying birds or something.
