It was a normal day. The birds chirped, the sun shined. Everything was in place. Well...at least most things were.

Beep beep beep! I slammed my hand down on my alarm as I got up for the night. My hair wasn't tangled for once as I stretched before going to the bathroom. It was around 6:30pm, and I had more reports to do so I Would always take a nap before doing said reports. Once I finished up in the bathroom I went through all the rooms and locked the windows. Even though Tanner hadn't been back in a while, the kidnapper was still active on some nights. It had been a month since I caught the blue blood killer, I felt happy about it but at the same time kinda wished that I could've said 'Thank You' to Tanner. Non the less that was the past and I don't think Tanner would ever come back. I yawned before rolling out my chair and sitting down for the night. I read the first two and noticed they were shreds. Just people seeing or thinking the wrong things from reality. But the third one was interesting to say the least. ' I live in the area and I usually sit next to a woman on the bus ride to work. We became friends over time but I haven't seen her in a few days. I know it's probably nothing but Can someone please check? Thank you!' I softly scoffed a smile as I typed her name into the search bar. Nothing popped up. I looked on her social media to find an empty page. 'Weird.' I soon found out non of my tools would work, but that just meant I had to dig hard on the web. Before I did that I went to check the rooms. Still clear. It was confusing, a part of me wanted Tanner to stay away but the other part wanted to give him a hug. After all, he was the one who gave me peace by form of a name for the faceless man who killed Sarah.

I never told anyone about him, I didn't want them to take him away. It was kind of like a silent deal in a way, 'I give you the name, and You don't turn me in.' I thought it was fair. I sat down at the chair and looked up sites that might be able to help me. After a while I got on the dark web. It was my first time and I'm not gonna lie. I was scared shitless. It was easier than I thought but then again I had a guide in the form of a step by step manual that my boss handed out to all the people in investigations. I clicked around for a while, eventually ending up on a site that you could watch live rape. I nearly threw up by just the thumbnails. Those poor women were being subjected to such lude acts against their will, it made me feel fortunate that I got out with my life that night with Tanner or that I haven't been kidnapped yet by the other guy. I sighed as I searched up her body details. Hair, body type, eye color, etc. There was only one result with her in doggy position being raped by a cold blooded bastard. I put it through to office as I filed the report.

~Time Skip~

I finished my last report as it turned 11. I was still unsettled by what I saw, but I pushed through. I had work tomorrow so I couldn't stay up anymore time. I went to my room and got back under the covers, closed my eyes and...couldn't sleep. "Ughhh just sleep!!" I turned on my stomach and tired that position to no avale. I turned the other way but I kept feeling like someone was watching me. I took the other 3 pillows on my bed and put them behind me in a protective wall as I finally found the sweet spot. I dozed off in no time. Beep Beep Beep! I groaned, annoyed, that I had to get up this early. "Fucking dumb alarm." I slammed my hand down as I got up for the day. The sun shined in my face while it kissed my cheeks good morning, even though the day was nice I felt...egh. I took a shower as the hot water warmed my skin up to a blushed tone. I didn't like it when that happened, it always took around and hour to go away. I got changed into some jeans with a black shirt and my work bomber jacket then left the house. Once I got to my work, I overheard some of my colleagues talking while they drank their morning coffee. "That asshole. Who does he think he is huh?!" "Yea! Talking like he's some fricken Shakespeare of some shit." They scoffed as I turned the corner and got settled down in my office. I went to sit but then someone came in. It was Lucas, my work friend, I could tell he was kind of annoyed by his tone but I don't question it. "Luna, you have to come over here. This guy says he'll only talk to you." Balot said in frustration. I got up and followed him to the room. "What's going-?" "-We've been looking for him for around a year now, he's a stalker/Murderer. But don't let that freak you out." He cleared his throat as he opened the door to the mirror room, where we can see them but they can't see us. "We sent you a BOLO of him didn't we?" "I don't know what you talking abou-...." once I saw his face I knew it was Tanner. I nervously chuckled. "Yea you did, now everyone out." My tkk ok e got strict as I was disappointed Tanner got caught. They all looked at me confused as Lucas spoke. "Wha-." "You heard me. I need to talk to to him alone. And that means no one in here, no one in the room, and definitely no one on cameras. Got it?" "But Luna, he's-." "I don't care just let me talk to him alone. Maybe I can even sort this mess out. Because I know." I turned to make direct eye contact with Lucas while grabbing his tie to face me "he's innocent." Lucas blew a raspberry as he chuckled "Well, alright! Everyone out I guess." All the guys laughed as they left the room. Even handing me the keys. I think they were just relieved that they didn't had to deal with Tanner anymore.
