|LUNA|

I whipped around to find...Will. The world caved in and my ears began ring. "Watch out Luna.. you might.." I fell to the ground in defeat and with a hazed vision I saw him walk closer and crouch with a sinister and almost demonic grin. "Pass out.." with one last cackle from Will, I passed out. When I woke back up I was still outside and in the same spot. I sat up with my curly hair welcoming me back to reality. The air filled my nose pretty quickly with its cold and clear quality. But when I came to, I noticed Will wasn't there. 'Was it my mind playing tricks on me?'
Probably. I got to my feet and picked up the basket to get the clothes in. I needed to hurry up and get inside, I hated the nights alone. More than anything. It was torture, all the over thinking and anxiety that came out without the suns protection. I ran back inside and locked the door behind me. Then went to the living room to fold clothes. For some reason I was still getting TV so.. at least I had something to keep my mind occupied. Tanner and I didn't get to the point where we watched shows together so I had free range on what to watch. "Now what to-." I stopped talking when I heard a creak from upstairs. I put down the clothes I was folding and turned off the TV. Then grabbed a bat from kitchen. When my footsteps made a sound I ran to the nearest closet then waited. I was right to wait. Soon enough i heard more creaking which meant, I wasn't going crazy. And that someone was actually in the house.

This is one of my worst fears since they all left. I've never felt this on edge in my entire life. Sure I was scared when Tanner and Dimitri were after me but at least I had the comfort of a familiar location. I had never ventured out Pat the picnic spot. Because... I had a feeling that if I did I would certainly be killed. And not in the fast and easy way. Once the footsteps came closer I held my breath. "Luna?" A voice called out. But it took me a second listen to hear that the voice belonged to Clint. I jumped out of the closet and ran into Clint's arms. "CLINT!" He caught me and exchanged a warm embrace while he asked me the normal questions. Like.. how are you? Are you ok? Why are we here? 'Wait..'

I backed up and asked him. "What do you mean why are we here? I thought you would know." "I don't.. I just woke up in a bed upstairs. Hell I didn't know you were here until I read a journal upstairs." I had kept a journal of my time here. More like a log book but what could I say? It was better than talking to imaginary people. "Oh ok." I blew out air and he took a look around. Only to find Tanners lab coat and tie on the dining chair. "Who's is this?" He felt the fabric twist in his grip as I told him "It's Tanner's ." He stiffened up and gave me a look of shock in the middle of my sentence. "Tanner... Grayton?" I nodded. "Yea.. is something wrong?" ... "you're associated with him?" "Yea. But Clint-." "How?" "We met a while ago." He came up to me and grabbed my shoulders. "How?!" "Clint. You're starting to scare me." He took a second to breath before backing up. "Sorry It's just-." He stopped talking and looked up to the ceiling's corners. "Are there any cameras in this house?" "Not that I know of." He stopped looking and gave me his full attention. "How long have you been here?" ... "about a month." I leaned back onto the counter. "I came here with my Doctor, a nurse, another inmate, and Tanner. Then... one night they just left. I can't remember how or why but they were just gone."
"And you've been here ever since... huh?" I nodded but then looked up to him. "But hey! At least I have you here." We smiled and I asked if he was hungry. He said yes and I served him some left over soup. And while he was busy eating I finished folding my laundry. Clint thought a lot in his free time so he took a while longer to finish his soup. I didn't mind, in fact it gave me time to put away the clothes in the dresser I claimed. When I was done with that I went back downstairs and sat down with Clint. "Luna." "Hm?" I fiddled with the rose from earlier while he spoke. "Can you tell me more about Tanner?" "Like?" "Like how you met." My heart dropped. If I came clean about this then I don't know what would happen. What ripple would be made from this one decision? I could lie.. but that would make more problems in the future. I cleared my throat. "One night he took me, to a quiet and basement like place. This was when I was still looking for the blue blood killer and I had worked for 14 nights straight, not stopping for anything. Even if there were 2 people trying to kidnap me. But when I woke up from being drugged Tanner was in front of me. Later on into our conversation.. he gave me a file." I made eye contact with Clint. "The file that cracked the case.." he said in a question form. I nodded. "And then... he just kept coming back."
