My eyes widened in horror as I saw my mom fall to the ground. I went to hug her when the swat team  screamed at me "STOP RIGHT THERE!" I put my hands up and cried my eyes out. "Please.. I-." Before I could finish my sentence an officer came behind me and cuffed my wrists. In that second I felt a familiar emotion... vengeance, it festered in me so deeply that I didn't realize it was a dream until I woke up in an underground sleeping quarter. "Luna? Luna wake up." Tanner shook me, sitting on the cot bed that I laid on. I groggily spoke with my eyes adjusting to the light. "Tanner?" He nodded and held my shoulders while I balanced on my elbows. "You passed out while watching the tapes, are you feeling better now?" I held my head in my hands, while sitting up. I had a huge headache. "Yea, my head just hurts." Tanner scoffed a soft laugh, "probably because you're wearing a ponytail." "What?" I felt my hair to find it was in a slick back ponytail. I yanked the hair tie out and massaged my head. "Ugh, thanks for telling me." "No problem." I sat there for a few more seconds before I laid back down. I didn't want to get up, I was too exhausted. So I just cuddled back with the blanket, as if Tanner wasn't even there.

I couldn't get the thought of him eating someone out of my head. It was all too realistic to be staged. The cot was pretty spacious so Tanner just laid down next to me, watching me. I grabbed a pillow and put it in between my legs. I wanted to cuddle something, but if I asked Tanner he would make it weird. I groaned and tossed and turned to find the holy spot. Never finding it. I let out one more sigh before I told Tanner, "turn around." He didn't bat an eye and turned on his other side. Sometimes it was nice to be the big spoon. Refreshing even. I put a leg over his waist and around his stomach as his head was almost between my boobs. I was finally comfortable and started to play with his hair. "Aren't you the one with a headache?" "Shut up and enjoy the moment."
... "Feisty today huh?" He teased. I playfully rolled my eyes and covered his mouth. "Do you want me to play with your hair or not?" I felt the vibrations of his giggle on my hand as he spoke "I won't stop you, sorry for interrupting." I kept my hand over his mouth as my other hand glided through his hair, massaging it and twirling the strands in between my fingers. I was so busy with my drowsyness that I didn't feel when Tanner started licking my fingers until he bit on one, not rough but more soft. I smiled and took my hands away, while looking in my pockets I noticed a small needle on the floor. Tanner started to turn my way when I pushed him back to face the opposite direction. "Luna..What are you-." "Shh It's a surprise."

He shrugged and looked the other way. I picked up the needle and whipped it clean. It was in pretty good shape, not bents or rust or any sort of blood on it, so it should be safe. I then grabbed my finger and proceeded to make a small cut on the top of my pointer. It stung for a second before blood seeped out. I snickered and went back to my position with Tanner. This time, I was sticking my finger in his mouth. It took him aback for a second, then once he tasted the blood he licked around my finger and soaked it in before it dried, then once it dried he sucked on it, almost softly gnawing at my skin. "So are you a vampire or something?" I jokingly said. "I wouldn't call me that," he said in a light voice "I mean I planned on eating you remember? But now... I don't want to." I cocked an eyebrow "oh? And why not?" He was going to answer when 2 men came in the room. Both black haired and buzz cut. "Luna Youngman. It's time for your daily assignment." We sat up and looked at them confused. "Wha-?" The men then came over to me and dragged me out of bed. "Come on, we don't have time to waist." Tanner was being held back, we didn't want to be separated, non the less out of sight. I panicked and started to kick. "Tanner!" "Get off of me!" He yelled at the masked man. He was about to get out of his hold and run to me but the man just pushed him back on the bed and started to punch. "Tanner?!" I cried out, I heard the struggle before a sack was placed over my head.

~Time Skip~

I woke up in my bed, My bed. I was confused and got up to stretch, this time not being stopped by Tanner. I looked down and saw that he wasn't there. I furrowed my brows and looked out the window. Night. I looked at the clock. 9:30 pm. I was even more unsettled. I didn't feel tired or even remotely sleepy, but it was late? I shrugged it off and walked to the kitchen. Only to be stopped in my tracks with humming. The same goddamn nursery rhyme was being hummed by god knows who. I knew it wasn't Tanner, he would never be so insensitive let alone rude. I walked up to the door way to find no one. Just the humming. I pretended to ignore it as I went to the window above the sink. Watching the moan and clouds dance together in the night sky. I was about to forget about the humming when a breath hit my neck. I whipped back around with a knife in hand and swung. Missing the first few shots, after a while he grabbed a knife too and swung at me harder. Eventually cutting my inner thigh open. 'Fuck!' I screamed in my head. I stepped back and held my thigh, squeezing it and hopefully stopping the blood. He didn't try to kill me though, but rather he bent down and teased me. "Aw, did daddy's little girl cut herself" my eyes widened in shock and fear when I heard his voice.
