Cassiopeia Khaleesi Black was a handful to say the least.
On the outside she was a typical Black; her eyes we're the same exact shade of grey that many of the other Black ancestors had, including her father and her defined cheekbones and jawline radiated ethereal beauty along with her long black her that cascaded down her back.
On the inside however, she was everything that would make dear old Walburga drop dead in an instant, if it wasn't for the fact she was already, well you know, dead.
Having being sorted into Gryffindor in her first year, she was already tarnished with the title "blood traitor" from the majority of the Slytherins and many other pure blood supremacists who could've sworn on Salazars life that she would've been a Slytherin solely based on the fact she was a Black.

Cassie never really had a place she could call her home until she went to Hogwarts.

She had lived at 12 Grimmauld place with Walburga up until she was 4 and Walburga had died, but she'd never call that place her home as there were too many horrors within the walls to even start to describe.

Following her Grandmothers death, the Ministry had considered leaving her in the care of The Malfoys, but after reviewing Lucius' past history with Voldemort
and deatheaters, they thought it'd be best not to hand her over to them incase they turned the Black Heiress into a deatheater protégé overnight.

With nowhere else to go, the Ministry placed her into several different group homes and foster homes over the years as she kept getting herself kicked out of each one due to her pranks or her disregard for any of the rules. Each home had some type of connection to the wizarding world wether it be that the matron had a witch as her sister, or they were a squib, so she wasn't completely shut off from the wizarding world whilst being surrounded by muggles.

When she had received her Hogwarts letter back in 1991, she was ecstatic. Her first two years were nothing short of a rollercoaster. After befriending Hermione Ron and Harry back on the Hogwarts express in her first year, danger seemed to follow the quartet like a lost puppy but Cassie loved this, the other three didn't quite understand the whole thrill Cassie felt everytime they risked their life's facing Voldemort, Basilisks or any other life threatening situation they quite often found themselves in.
