Cassie wasn't surprised to see Narcissa Malfoy walk past the doorway, but the blonde boy behind made her feel as if her whole world had
frozen.
It was only then, she realized she was in Malfoy Manor.

Draco Malfoy was not phased when he spotted her fragile figure, curled up in a pile of blood.
Voldemort had taken control over Malfoy Manor for a while now, but not once had he learnt Cassie was here.

Draco had heard screaming all summer, from men, women, children and even elves, but he never had imagined Cassie was among one of the voices.

He watched as Voldemort ripped into Cassie, listening to her skin tear open and the blood trickling to the floor. When Voldemort snarled, and began persuading Cassie that this could all be over if she joined him, he did nothing.
He walked by with a chilling amount of confidence, almost smirking at the sight of Cassie before leaving whilst she was left defenseless, praying Draco hadn't turned his back on her completely.
Only a mere few weeks ago, Cassie thought they were both on the same side.

"Hah!" Bellatrix screeched as the Dark Lord vanished. "Play time!"

The pit in Cassie's stomach dropped further.
It was relentless.
At the same time, each day, Bellatrix would belittle Cassie with every curse possible after Voldemort had finished with his fun.

Her body twisted in unnatural ways, bones snapping easily.
Crimson blood coated her body, barely drying before more spilled.
It felt as if thorns were scratching the back of her throat whilst her eyes burnt harshly at the sunlight.
She hadn't been outside for weeks,

Bellatrix would tear her down, spell by spell, until she was so weak, even breathing was difficult, and then she'd stop.

"Have you made the right choice yet?" Bellatrix sang, spinning her wand.

"Fuck you." Cassie spat weakly.

"What a shame." Bellatrix sighed, watching Cassie slowly gain strength, just enough to shout a weak curse.

Bellatrix was barely harmed, a tiny scratch on her arm was nothing, but the consequence was quite something.

Vines exploded from her wand, tangling Cassie nearly to suffocation.
A handful of dark curses were then thrown onto Cassie, the worst bleeding her out from the inside, and then repairing the damage before mauling her again.
There was no doubt that Bellatrix had learnt her new spells from Voldemort.

"Take her back to the cellar." Bellatrix laughed, ordering an house elf to do it.

The cellar wasn't much better then her and Bellatrix's dates.
There must have been atleast 30 other people down there, all suffering from one curse or another.
Blood, and even death, were the only things you could see.
A spec of light rarely illuminated the room, but when it did, it was hell.
The true horrors of what had happened to everyone were revealed, and it was everything but pretty.

Miles away on Platform 9 3/4, life was moving on.
Children boarded the Hogwarts express, worrying about a textbook they may have left behind, whilst the Order and members of Dumbledores Army worried if Cassie was alive.

"Sirius, I'm not getting on that train. Not until Cassie's doing it with me." Harry protested.

The Weasley children had all been placed on the train, despite their pleads not to, but Harry was insistent he wasn't going.
