Cassie hadn't been staying out of trouble like her father had instructed her too.
If anything, she was getting into even more trouble, just not getting caught.

She must've broken hundreds of rules countless times, yet never faced one punishment.

Partying with the Slytherins had only increased with the occasional Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff joining but never another Gryffindor.
Cassie was continuously the only Gryffindor at these party's; Draco wouldn't be seen dead socializing with anyone else from the Lions den.

Harry had caught on by now, he had seen her leave the common room just after nightfall, and faintly heard her stumbling back to her dorm before sunrise.
He wasn't naive enough to think she was innocently studying in the library.
She'd return, pupils blown and wild smelling strongly of alcohol, it was a miracle Umbridge had never caught her.

Cassie's family had always suffered with addiction, and she had inherited that cursed gene too.
She wasn't proud of her substance abuse, but it still seemed better than mass genocide.
Bellatrixs desire to torture and kill muggles sickened Cassie, even though the crazed aunt had been banished to Azkaban.

Cassie liked to think that Bellatrix was addicted to it, that she couldn't help her impulses to kill.
Realistically, she knew that wasn't the case. She knew the only reason Bellatrix killed was because she was a sadistic psychopath, but it never hurt to dream.

Umbridge seemed to be gaining more power by the minute, there was very little McGonagall could do to override any decisions the Ministry women made.

Cassie was still banned from Defense Against the Dark Arts, though that was probably for the best. The last thing anyone needed was a showdown between Umbridge and Cassie.

Remus had been working tirelessly with the order which left little time for him to help Cassie.
Both him and Sirius knew that Cassie was becoming extremely agitated with not performing any defensive magic.
After all, it was in her blood.
The earliest Remus could see her was one Hogsmeade weekend in October.

Remus' visit clashed with the Quartets latest endeavor.
Hermione had had enough of Umbridges ruling, and took matters into her own hands as Cassie had suggested.
After much persuasion, she had managed to convince several students to meet them in a derelict pub to discuss forming their own forces.

As Sirius said, Fudge was terrified Dumbledore was forming his own Army, so why not make his fear a reality.

"This is mad!" Harry huffed whilst he trudged through the snow. "Who'd wanna be taught by me? I'm a nutter remember."

"I know." Cassie smirked, Harry couldn't help turning red. He hoped people would just assume it was from the cold.

"Look on the bright side, you can't be any worse than the old toad face." Ron said, trying to boost Harrys confidence.

"Cheers Ron." Harry said shaking his head.

"I'm here for you mate."

"Who's supposed to be meeting us then?" Harry asked Hermione.

"Just a couple people." Hermione answered.

"And why am I even here? Im all for breaking rules, but it's not like i use spells from a bloody textbook." Cassie moaned. "I need to meet Moony soon anyways."
