Cassie never imagined that she'd break down in Sirius' arms, but it happened.

She wished with every bone in her body that she didn't wake up in the morning. Having to face him after so much truth was spilled would be excruciating.

A small part of her was relieved. As awkward as it might be, each time they're in the same room there won't be as much hostility now.

Even though things with Sirius were calming down, Cassie was still beyond furious with Hermione, Harry and Ron.

The three of them were immensely relieved when Cassie was brought back to 12 Grimmauld place, but they never anticipated her hatred for them.
They weren't naive, they knew keeping this from her would've caused problems, but never expected it to be like this.

It was a miracle the four of them had lasted this long in a house together.
Ron was convinced that with Cassie's glares he'd drop dead any second. Though he supposed that wouldn't be the worst thing to happen, after his piss poor performance in his O.W.L.S, if Cassie's glares didn't kill him his mother surely would.

Harry couldn't understand it. Cassie had a father. His was dead. Instead of spending all of her time resenting him and Sirius, he thought she should've been thanking him. After all, he was the one who freed him and proved his innocence to Dumbledore. He knew keeping the secret would hurt her, but never like this.

Hermione knew from the beginning. As much as Harry would argue it, she knew Cassie the most. She could've predicted the outcome, she was strongly against lying to her from the start.
After spending four years in the same dormitory, there was very little they didn't know about each other.

As furious as Cassie was, she wasn't completely blinded by rage. She was able to read people well, she could tell Hermione was deeply and sincerely sorry. It was evident in her eyes.
Part of her wanted to forgive Hermione, but she was far to stubborn to fold like that.
With Harry and Ron, it was slightly trickier.
Ron seemed apologetic, but almost as if he didn't know himself what he was apologizing for.
Harry on the other hand, showed both no remorse and complete remorse all at the same time. As if he wasn't sorry for what he had done, more so how he had done it.

As unfortunate as it was, she did wake up the next day. Sleeping the alcohol and embarrassment off was the best course of action so Cassie didn't emerge from the bedroom until late afternoon.

In order to get to the kitchen, she had to pass her Grandmothers portrait.
Walburga had been a nuisance to everybody for weeks, constantly shouting obscenities at innocent bystanders.
No one had been able to get the old hag to shut up.
Her portrait was firmly fixed to the wall with a permanent sticking charm, religiously being cleaned and polished by Kreacher daily.
It was almost funny to Cassie, if they would simply just lift all of the wards and enchantments that prevented her from doing magic, Walburga could've been silenced by now.
