"So let me get this straight—" Effie began,

"—unlike you." Cassie joked.

"Shutup, you told Harry to fuck off until he sorts his controlling issues?" Effie asked.

"Yeah." Cass shrugged.

"Have you ever thought that he isn't controlling you, just simply looking out for you?" Cedric asked.

"You two are supposed to be on my side!"

Ever since Cassie and Harry had the slightly public fight in the common room, Cass had ignored him unsurprisingly.

"We are, but can't you understand that just because someone's looking out for you, doesn't mean they're controlling you." Cedric sighed.

"What's he even done that's controlling." Effie asked as she hung upside down from the couch.

"Remember the first day back in the Great Hall, he nearly snapped my neck in half trying to see what was on my neck." Cassie exaggerated.

In Harrys defense, he wasn't used to seeing his bestfriend, who he fancies, have hickies all across her skin.

"Well you did walk in, completely showing them off." Effie replied as she remembered the day.

"You're only 15, of course Harry was worried about it, he wasn't trying to control what you can and can't do." Cedric added.

"Think you're forgetting you give me them all the time." Cassie pointed out. "Remember last night when you gave me one by—"

"Not the point." Cedric smirked covering Cassie's mouth with his hand.

"You two are disgusting." Effie scoffed.

Whilst Effie was mentally throwing up at the two, Harry and Ron were struggling to find dates for the upcoming Yule Ball.
Though Harry was stressed beyond comprehension about the him and Cassie situation, turning up to the Yule Ball alone was a greater issue to him.

"Why do they always travel in packs." Harry complained as him and Ron walked through the courtyard. "How are you supposed to get one alone to ask them."

"Blimey Harry, you slayed dragons. If you can't get a date who can?" Ron asked as every girl around the duo fled from them.

"I think i'd take the dragon right now." Harry muttered.

In the wonderful world of a boys brain, turning up to the dance with a date was a higher, and much challenging, priority.
