Cassie avoided Snape like he was the plague ever since that night.
How do you even face someone like Snape after nearly killing him?
Thankfully, Snape wasnt eager to see Cassie again either.
He had made his own plans to avoid her at all costs.
He wasn't sure which was worse, he tried to kill a student, or, that a student nearly killed him.

Her days were filled with almost nothing now. There was only a few lessons Dumbledore permitted her to go to, and now without Snapes extra lessons, she had too much time on her hands.
Everyone had noticed her absence, it was impossible not too, she was quite the character some might say.

Harry pestered her the most, begging her to come to class with him. He whined like a puppy constantly, not understanding why she wouldn't simply attend with him.

"Charms used to be your favorite!" he exclaimed as they walked down the long corridors. "It's just one lesson, come with me."

"Did it fuck." Cassie scoffed. "I hate Charms, and every other lesson Harry. You'll be fine on your own."

She hated this.
Voldemort was already driving her away from everyone she cared about.

"Fine." he huffed quietly.

Harry left her stood alone in the cold corridor.
It was ironic, recently she was finding herself to be cold and alone more times than she could count.

Once again, she walked aimlessly around the castle.
Through doors which weren't doors, down steps that weren't steps and into rooms which weren't rooms until she couldn't wander any further.

She led herself to the Astronomy Tower, it was peaceful.
The Tower overlooked the entire Hogwarts Grounds; The Forbidden Forest, the Quidditch pitch, Hagrids Hut–

Hagrids Hut.
He was there, towering over the door.
Hagrid was back.

No one had seen him for weeks, they were all desperate for answers.

Cassie flew back down the stairs, tripping constantly. She ran through the hallways towards the Charms classroom, she hoped Harry, Ron and Hermione were there still.

The classroom was empty though, deserted.
Cassie caught her breath again for a second, before turning to search elsewhere.

There was no sign of them in the Great Hall, or the Gryffindor Common Room.

Back down the staircase she went, and out onto the courtyard where she finally caught Harry and the others.

"Harry! Hagrids back." Cassie said breathlessly holding onto Harry to stop herself from falling.

The four ran straight down the steep hill to Hagrids hut.
Even with being on the Quidditch team,
Cassie still hated excercise and despised the fact she had to do so much running.

They barely made it to the frontdoor when they heard Umbridges voice echo from inside.

"I'm going to say this one last time. Im. ordering you to tell me where you've been."

"Ive told you! Been away for me health." Hagrid replied.

"Your health?" Umbridge reiterated, peering out the window the four were eavesdropping through.
