After the night in the Astronomy Tower, Cassie avoided Professor Lupin completely. Despite his requests for her to meet him the next day, she didn't turn up. He wasn't surprised at this, after all she was Sirius' daughter and he had done the exact same thing to Remus before.
Cassie made Fred promise not to tell Harry, Ron or Hermione what had happened that night as she didn't want them worrying about her. Harry had tried to confront her about her boggart, constantly asking if she was okay, but Cassie shut him down each time keeping all her feelings to herself as they were her problem to face. She didn't want to burden Harry, or anyone else, with something so silly. What good would it do?
Cassie was sprawled across one of the armchairs in the common room procrastinating about finishing her charms essay. Hermione had been trying to get her to complete it for the last half an hour whilst she worked through her giant stack of homework happily, but Cassie had only managed to write two words as Ron was distracting her far too much with his dreadful impression of a troll.
Harry returned to the common room after quidditch practice to find the room buzzing excitedly.
"What's happened?" he asked the three.
"First Hogsmeade weekend." answered Ron pointing over to the notice board in the corner. "End of October, Halloween."
"Excellent." Fred said who followed Harry into the common room. "I need to visit Zonkos. I'm nearly out of Stink Pellets."
Harry threw himself onto Cassie's legs as she was taking up the whole armchair.
"Ew Harry no!" Cass screamed. "You're all sweaty get off me."
"Shut your mouth Black, I know you love it." he said, already turning red at this sudden burst of confidence.
"You wish Potter. Now seriously get off of me before I hex you into oblivion." Cass threatened.
Harry didn't need telling twice as he quickly climbed off of Cassie's legs.
"Are you two off to Hogsmead?" Ron asked.
Both Harry and Cass shook their heads as neither of them had their permission slip signed.
"Harry, Cass, I'm sure you'll be able to go next time," Hermione said trying to cheer the pair up. "Their bound to catch Black soon." she added hesitantly looking over at Cass. They had tried to mention Black as little as possible after that Defense Against the Dark Arts lesson.
"Blacks not fool enough to try anything in Hogsmeade. Ask McGonagall if you both can go this time. The next one might not be for ages." Ron said.
