Lily arrived at the Black house, which was more like a castle considering the size, just as Cassie was getting to the best part of Toy Story.

"Oh thank god." Lily sighed, finally believing the news James had shared with her.

In a way, Lily was in denial when James had told her Cassie had woken. It only now felt real, as she witnessed it with her own eyes.

"Lily, you didn't need to come. It's almost midnight!" Sirius said apologetically as he went to greet her.

"Don't be daft! I wanted to, besides, I would have been awake anyways."

Everyone's sleep schedule was all over the place since Cassie had been found. They had been up at all hours of the night the past day and a half, staying vigilant incase of any changes.

"She seems okay." Lily said quietly to Sirius as they stood in the doorway observing, not sure if it was a statement or a question.

"Seems it." Sirius said, emphasizing first word. "I don't think she has even noticed you're here yet Lils. I can't get her to eat anything either, and she's barely touched her glass of water."

"Has Cassie said anything yet? About what happened before we found her?" Lily asked carefully.

No one wanted to push Cassie into giving any answers just yet, but they desperately needed information.
They could vaguely piece together what may have happened, but no one could be certain.

"Not really, when she woke up she did scream. Thought I looked like Bellatrix, hence the hair." Sirius told her, flipping his head to show off his bun.

"Really?" Lily asked in shock.

There was only the slightest resemblance between Bellatrix and Sirius, almost impossible for anyone to notice.

Unless, they spent nearly half a year being tortured by the Witch.

"It wasn't just a scream, Cassie looked terrified at the sight of me." Sirius gulped.

"Oh, Sirius." Lily sighed sympathetically. "I think it's best if we don't ask too many questions just yet, Cassie will tell us when she is ready. In the meantime, i think a shower and new clothes will help her feel more normal again."

"I haven't dared to move her. She was sick earlier just trying to get up." Sirius frowned.

"It might be a good idea to try again, Sirius."

Lily made her way over, Cassie was still too engrossed in Toy Story to realize.

"Hey Cassie." Lily said gently.

Cassie's head turned quick, unsure who the voice was from at first.

"Oh, hey ginger." Cassie smirked.

"What is it with you Blacks thinking the colour of my hair is funny!" Lily laughed, reminiscing of how Sirius would say the same thing in school.

"It's not our fault Lils." Sirius shrugged.

"It's yours for being ginger." Cassie added.
